  • Losing weight is as much mental as it is physical. Very easy to start having negative thoughts if you have a bad weigh in or you are stuck on a plateau.

  • I think we've gone from one extreme to another with women's clothing sizes in the US honestly. I think 50 years ago you had to darn near be underweight to wear a smaller clothing size, but now if you're a normal, healthy weight you need a XS or a XXS in some cases.

  • Maybe I misread your original post, but you've lost 20 lbs since April correct? Depending on when in April you started that should be about a pound a week.
  • I would be miserable too if a third of my calorie allowance was coming from protein shakes. Drinking my calories does absolutely nothing for me in terms of hunger or energy levels.   • My BMI is 26.0 down from 35.1 last October. I would say it's pretty accurate depiction of where I am in this process. I'm still overweight, but I'm not super overweight.
