I was able to jog for 6min 35secs without stopping. I haven't done that in over 20 years!19

One more (now three out of five) diabetes meds stopped! Woo hoo!
Blood sugar absolutely normal!
My Fitbit waistband is one notch tighter now.25 -
I did C25K week 5 day 2 today. Two 8-minute runs with 5 minutes walking in between. However, the NSV was that I was feeling so good after that I decided to just run some more. Ended up running a mile without stopping, clocking that mile at 13'20". Obviously not fast, but it was steady and comfortable. I wouldn't have been able to do that two months ago.22

I've been going to HITT work outs for 3 weeks, in my first week I couldn't even hold a single plank for 4 seconds. Tonight I held a plank for 18 seconds 3 times in a row. It's not much but it's a hell of an improvement!22

I last posted in this thread in 2017 shortly before going through a difficult breakup and falling off the weight loss bandwagon.
I tried to get back on track in 2018 for a bit, but just couldn’t manage it.
So my NSV is that I’m back.
Two years later and with a starting weight 80 lbs heavier than my all time lowest, but I’m back.42 -
Had some brand new one-size smaller underwear in my drawer, and it's so comfortable! Did you know you can put 100% cotton old underwear in your compost pile?! (minus all the elastic, of course!)11

I had company come over earlier than I said. And I told them to come an hour later so I could finish my work out. They did not listen but I managed to finish my work out anyway. No excuses. My legs are getting stronger.15

I've been doing almost exclusively online pickup orders for my grocery shopping, which really helps me avoid buying the sweets that I would typically binge on. This evening I had a craving for rotisserie chicken, so I decided to make a run to the store to pick one up. While there, I made eye contact with a package of chocolate chip cookies and for the briefest of moments, I considered throwing away my last month's progress and grabbing all the processed sugar my heart desired. But then I said, "no, just pick yourself out some tasty sauce to have with the chicken" and I left the store with only my chicken and sauce.31

Just had my first week back in gym after lockdown and, according to my PT I smashed it and I am only 3 lbs up on my pre lockdown weight16

I put back some of the crackers I'd logged and was working on as an evening snack. I was about 3/4 through them when I realized I wasn't hungry anymore and figured why continue.
What an odd experience to someone who generally doesn't get moments like this! (I often don't feel "not hungry"; rather, I am hungry unless I'm F-U-L-L.)17 -
Hi I usually end up blowing of my work outs on the weekend. But this Saturday I got my yoga done in a much smaller quantity, and a walk in. That is so much more than I usually do on a Saturday. I stuck to my calories today.11

I saw relatives tonight I haven't seen since Christmas, 90# ago. It was great to hear their compliments.23

Somewhat scale related, but as of this morning I’m no longer obese but officially Overweight according to the BMI scale!25

Proper NSV: stopped using a bath sheet and instead used a regular size towel to wrap myself after my shower.29

Slowly working my way back up to a 10k run - we're now just half a mile off, my son and I. We run a little further every day - when I say a little, I mean a little, we just add a few more metres to each run but over time it's making a difference and my legs are not hating me as much as when I first did a 10k.
But, the big thing for me about running at the moment is that I can now hold a conversation whilst running. I have never been able to do that, in the three years I've been running so up until now it's been mainly listening to my son chattering whilst we run, with the occasional exhaled grunt from me. The advice was to run slower but if I'd run any slower I wouldn't have been moving at all. But now I suddenly find that I can hold a proper conversation and run at the same time. I'm not running fast but who cares about that apart from me (and the abusive woman in the park who claims that her dog doesn't like slow-moving people. So it clearly doesn't like anyone who walks then as I do run faster than most people can walk. So why not put it on a lead?).26 -
Climbing regular hill on road bike and wondered why my pace was so much higher. Realised I've lost the equivalent of 10 x full water bottles...20

Good for you. (I do love my bath sheets though!)

Size 10 jeans at last, so happy. They're stretchy so I seriously doubt that I'm a size 10 everywhere!

Going two weeks so far, no binge. This is huge for me! Ideally, I'd love to find myself binge-free for a year's time if not indefinitely.23

I took a morning walk. I am focused on my veggies today. I cooked a bunch of veggies.17
