  • Day 8 today: Weigh Day Week 1: 5.8lbs gone! Start Weight: 289.7lbs Current Weight: 283.9lbs Goal Weight: 119lbs (loose 170lbs) Height: 5'4" OMAD Time: midday Start Date: Saturay 25th March 2017 Feelings: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yesssssss!
  • Day 7: a busy day, so short entry Dreams: Again I had vivid dreaming. So now I know for sure that it's OMAD that brings them about. Calorie Counting: I don't calorie count, but decided to roughly enter my calories in to MFP. My meal came to just over 1000 calories. Which means, even on the days I only managed a 16 hour or…
  • Thanks @doodlebuggin18 @leveejohn @blambo61 @dajoloehr it's comforting to know it's not just me!
  • That's great that you're seeing good results. I left Keto behind, but still eat my fats and the good carbs. I'll find out tomorrow how well it's working for me. If you feel great on what you're doing, keep it up  Congrats on your progress to date!!
  • Day 6: Water & Liquids: I'm finding it easy to keep on top of my water intake. I don't really get hungry now, but still enjoy a black coffee every morning and every day, before my meal I have Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar as recommended for OMAD and by my Nutritionist. Feelings: I feel good, full of energy and calm. Again,…
  • I agree! It's one of the most important things to go.
  • I'm right with you on this! It's initially hard to detach from the dieter inside. Lol But this way of eating is so peaceful, it really takes the pressure off I found too, not having to count, weight, measure, plan etc.
  • A handful of my friends are vegan and vegetarian. I used to be a vegetarian myself for about 15 years. You're very much supported and appreciated
  • This makes so much sense to me! I used to be a runner and my main reason for running, was to loose weight. After doing a 10k charity run, I stopped. People would ask me "why have you stopped" and I'd reply, "because I was gaining weight and I'm the only runner getting bigger". I always had a natural instinct to focus on…
  • Congratulations!
  • That's a really great idea. The next time I feel like I'm going to end up having a 16hr day, I'll try that. I hope your recovery is going well!
  • Wow! Such a difference! Keep up the great work
  • I bet that feels great! You're progress is brilliant! I look forward to your update
  • Your progress and pictures! Wow! You look so different, beautiful and vibrant in both, but the difference is amazing. Thank you for sharing, it's so inspiring.
  • I've done a Ketogenic diet before, whilst doing Intermittent Fasting. It's recommended to do a 16 hour fast rather than a 23 hour fast. Also, even on a Keto diet, you still need a tiny amount of (curtain) 'net' carbs, I can't remember the exact grams, but it's low, so as to keep in Ketosis. I don't know if it is…
  • That's fantastic news! It's great how you just got on and got back to it and already enjoying the rewards of your hard work
  • Amazing, you're doing so well! Fantastic work!!
  • Day 5: Cravings: I've started craving spinach of all things! Feelings: Today, I noticed I look slightly different in the mirror and I have that nice floaty feeling again. My mum noticed I'm looking slimmer too. I'm looking forward to weighing in at the weekend. The hunger is dwindling. However, I find it hard when others…
  • @KetoKaHee @leveejohn @amflautist @doodlebuggin18 @dajoloehr thank you for your kind words and support. Yes, I feel it's best (for me personally), not to really tell others what I'm doing. My mum knows and my brother, who is a house of muscle, has been doing his own form OMAD for years. But having previously done Keto…
  • You're doing amazing! You've got this!
  • Day 4 today: Weight Loss: I woke up and my pyjamas was a little loose around the middle. My coat now swivels with the extra room, the arms are less tight too! My knee high boots zipped up easily and didn't feel too tight on my feet. Feelings: Amazing and super duper positive! Dreaming: None Toilet: Oh dear lord!
  • Day 3 continued: Lunch: Lunch was a chore today, I enjoyed it and had my usual amount, but it felt like I was eating a ten course dinner, with starters. I'm stuffed and I couldn't actually eat it all! Habits: I realised by having OMAD, how often I used to pop things in my when cutting up food, grating food, plating up food…
  • @1MADGIRL I do feel that way when I first wake up, but I find that having a sleep diary helps to 'let go' of all the events that happens when I have dreams like that.
  • Thank you @brendagaudette @KetoKaHee @blambo61 @leveejohn for your positive messages!
  • Great advice! So far I seem to be loosing, but if I hit a plateau, I'll definitely start doing that
  • Day 3: Feelings: AMAZING! I have an energy high, I'm not hungry, I could take on the world. I feel light and floaty today in a good way, like when you take a heavy backpack off. Dreams: I had really vivid lucid dreams. I haven't dreamt like that since I was a teenager. I could tell you colours, what people said, how warm…
  • Day 1: Hunger: I tried to make it to dinner time, but felt extremely hungry (like fight with and eat a tiger hungry), so I had a lunch and a dinner. Drinks: I found it easy switching from sugary drinks to just water and black coffee, I think the coffee helped and twitching is fun! Feelings: I went out to dinner with…
  • Thank you, it's good to know there's others doing the same path and having success. You've given me confidence
  • Thank you, I'm currently enjoying reading them all now. Very helpful and inspirational!
  • Thank you @brendagaudette that's exactly what I needed to know
