Definitely worth a try. I have a friend that's a nutritionist and will reach out to her to see how I can manipulate my diet plan. Thanks! And yes, I do like to ride when the weather is good.

I'm actually doing the partial load. Still working on breaking 90 without pain so the loads for squats are fairly light. I don't have any of those shoes but have a home gym so I will try "naked" tonight. I just won't be dropping the weights! Lol!!!

No! I'm not! I never thought of that. I hadn't want to invest in Nanos or other lifting shoes bc I thought they'd do more harm than good. I never thought of that. And yes....my feet do shift inside my shoes during lifts. Thank you so much! I knew someone on here would have some wisdom.

Right there with ya! I'm 45 yo and 5' 6 3/4". (That 3/4ths count) Lol. I started at 258 and am down to 223. I "think " I'm a size 18. Pretty sure that's where I am. Feel free to add me as a friend and we'll get through this. I'd LOVE to see 150 or 160. Haven't see. That since my 20s.

So glad you asked this question! I'm the slowest runner in my Crossfit class but I also am now able to run all the runs without ever having to walk, thanks to C25K, where others have had to walk. But I still felt self conscious bc I am always so slow.

Haha! Yessss....

I feel ya! But...I started googling clean eating recipes and cooking a ton of them on Sunday. I even found beef stronganoff over caulirice mixed with brown rice and a General Tso's chicken. Yes it took some time the first couple of meal prep days, butvthen it became much faster and easier. Also...I started calorie cycling.…

I'm in!!!! I'm shooting for 10,000 5xs a week and 7,000 2xs a week. And I need friends! Lol! I sound so desperate.

That's awesome! I'm on week 5 day 3. Just did my first 5K at the Turkey Trot and ran walked with a 41:13 time. I was so happy with that! And I can't wait to do more! And like you I hope to do the 10K program too.
-
Haha! Those pesky Gremlins! I was thinking it may beRussians!

It was a glitch. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Now back to normal. And I already do Crossfit 5 days a week and the C25K running program 3xs a week. Not sure I could add anymore exercise right now. I know for sure there's no way I could keep up my exercise regime on 1200 a day. I'd pass out! Lol! So so so glad to know it's…

Idk what in the world happen. My exercise is linked through my Apple Watch. I don't believe I messed with anything. I may try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it bc it seems to be a glitch if it keeps changing that much every day.?.?. When it has never changed on its own before.

Thanks for posting this thread! I have my first 5K tomorrow and reading all the responses helped me too! And WTG on finishing your 5K with such an awesome time. I will have to walk part of mine bc I haven't finished training with the c25k yet. Started it a month ago and then decided to do the Turkey Trot for fun. I'm…
