OMAD with a workout is tough! I can handle 30 min of cardio and/or walking in a day, but if I get too strenuous or get into an interval I get ravenous. I monitor bpm with a Fitbit and stay in the cardio zone or below. I also do some push-ups and planks, but nothing like your total body routine, and only once or twice a…

Excellent!! Keep the posts coming!

Wow Jim welcome aboard! You have quite an inspiring story!

Wow Brenda, that's a lot of info! I first tried co as an appetite suppressant at the suggestion of members of this group, mainly on the weekend. It helped. Once I made a 'pudding' by soaking chia seeds in water then adding a tsp of co to the resulting gel. It turned two tsp into a pretty good snack! I have Spectrum co on…

8 lbs first week, then I have settled into a trend of 1.5 to 2 lb/wk loss

@flanaganjim1 , @KetoKaHee , @blambo61 Thank you all for sharing this! Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who goes on these insane, frantic, can't stop shoveling it in periods. Totally out of control, and not understanding why. Glad I have some kinfolk here! Yes, OMAD is a discipline to be sure, but one that results in…

Hi Danielle and welcome aboard!!!
-
Way to go Mandy!!!

I'm spinning my wheels a bit too . . . . but it's okay, we know this works. All we have to do is look around in this group!
-
Congratulations Jim!!! You got this!
-
Wow, how appropriate!

This is from a Fitbit Charge HR, syncs with iPhone, screenshots are from the app.

you'll have a bump up in weight that will last a day or two, most probably. In the long term it will help you last from splurge day to splurge day.
-
You have this. Don't beat your body up by meds/healing AND work stress AND OMAD. OMAD will be still be there when the storm passes. So will we :)

well, a man, a wife, and two daughters worth, but yeah . . . ;) That's the 'collective' coffee/tea cabinet.

Weekends are tough! Some have had success with taking a tsp of coconut oil to calm the hunger pangs.
-
@frankiefucocs , try this. This is the basis of what this group is about. The founder, Joe, went from 360 to 190 and has maintained that range for some years. how-to-eat-omad

Quite an interesting comment. In Jason Fung's book The Obesity Code, he also makes a parallel between treatment of alcoholism and weight. It's a multi-faceted disorder, requiring a multi-faceted approach.

You are crushing it, congratulations!

Welcome aboard Danae!!!
-
Oh man that sounds good! Congratulations on your progress!!!

Have a coffee/tea cabinet? What does it look like? Here is ours!
-
Wow, what numbers! Showing us how it's done!
-
I suspect it might be some of both. Time will tell, right?

Everyone is allowed a moment now and then. That's just life. You know what to do, you know what works. Just because you don't see your recent performance as exemplary, that doesn't change what happens from this day forward. Keep on truckin'.
-
Woohoo!!! Another banner week for some of the most consistent numbers I can imagine! Are you two weeks into eating more carbs now?
-
Even after spring of 2016, you've only snuck above 220 once . . . shows this stuff works. Especially with the health problems, keeping the weight within a 15 lb range is quite remarkable.
