Thinking about the 90s makes me so nostalgic. I have so many fond memories, like skating down the street in roller blades and playing in the water from unsealed fire hydrants and breaking mine (and everyone else's) ankles playing Skip-It, watching early morning cartoons before school, Saturday Morning Cartoons (that…

Greek yogurt (Dannon Light & Fit, Oikos Triple Zero, Chobani Simply 100), Quaker Oats Instant Oatmeal, and boiled eggs are my go-to snacks when I need something low caloric and filling.

I've only lost 53 lbs so far (out of 175#, so I still have 122# left to lose) yet I am ALWAYS freezing. I just got back from vacation (Florida) and I was cold even when it was 65℉ outside. At one point we were driving down a highway with the car windows open and I had to close my friggin' window because I was so cold, and…

Some self-esteem would be nice. Short of that, a billion dollars. Guyanese curry chicken with roti would be pretty great, too.

I recently finished watching (in-between re-watching Hajime no Ippo, which is spectacular and I absolutely recommend it) Death Parade, which I loved so much. That one put me on a major feels train. And gosh, don't get me started on the OP/END. So good, so good. I also recently finished Yuri!!! On Ice, and yeah yeah, I know…

Nice to see another Heroic Age fan here! I love AoT, as well. BB was cool, but I was never hardcore into it. And I've been shelving YLiA for ages for some unknown reason. :/

I wouldn't say I'm addicted, but there are a few I like. I discovered Laini Taylor's "Daughter of Smoke and Bone" series a while ago and really enjoyed it (I love her prose so much!). I also recently purchased the first volume of "The Raven Boys" by Maggie Stiefvater because it looked really interesting (and a few of my…

Lol, I don't think so. Also, TG would be better categorized as "horror/supernatural," I think. I certainly wouldn't want my tween to be reading that.

Whatever floats your boat, man. I personally couldn't do it. I could be in a closed triad (polyamorous) relationship, but an open one where my partners could sleep with and/or date whoever they wanted? Nope. Not for me. But again, different strokes for different folks. Monogamy isn't for everyone. Actually, when you…

You have to be a heathen not to love musicals. My all-time favorite musical is Evita (I re-watch it a few times a year, tbh), but I also love Grease, Chicago, The Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King, Hairspray, The Sound of Music, Rent, etc. And oh man, don't even get me started on the Buffy musical ep, "Once More, With…

You weren't asking me, but my eldest sister is 4'11" and she's a grown woman.

I'm 5'9", which is tall-ish for a female, I suppose. As a kid/teen, my diet consisted mostly of meat, simple carbs (pasta/rice/bread), fast food, junk food, candy galore, and fruits. I've always had a tendency to skip breakfast and eat a medium-sized lunch, colossal-sized dinner, and enough sweets to put a diabetic in a…

I hope so! I've always had an extremely high libido. Here's hoping it doesn't worsen as I continue to lose weight because it's distracting enough as it is. :#

I'm 25 and I still live at home. Why? Because I live in one of the most expensive cities in the world and I can't afford to live on my own with what I make, even in a shoddy area. It sucks, but it is what it is. I have absolutely no idea what to do with my life so I feel totally aimless.

Smart man. My sister had a friend who was Wiccan, which I thought was really cool up until she tried to convince my sister to perform a Samhain ritual at the cemetery. She got so mad when my sister refused. Our (immediate) family is super strict about not messing around with stuff like that. We have a few distant relatives…

Okay, so when I was in middle school I got invited to a slumber party and the girl whose house we were staying in had a Ouija board and wanted everyone to play. I flat out refused to, then pretended to be sick so my mom could pick me up (fun fact: I can totally make myself throw up without sticking anything down my…

It's absolutely possible to lose weight without counting. I certainly did a few years ago--lost 40+ lbs in like 3 months. But then I stopped because I was hungry all the time. Thanks to the food diary I kept I now know that it was because I was eating way too little and was literally starving myself, even if at the time I…

Mashed potatoes and mayonnaise. Yum! I also love drinking hot chocolate w/ yellow cheese (gouda or american) and dipping either french bread or soda crackers into it. Baked apples and american/cheddar cheese are life itself. Peanut-butter and pomegranate froyo makes a bizarrely good mix. And oh gosh, I love eating ground…

Depends on the tat. For instance, a friend of mine has this weird looking tat of a naked woman that I find really unattractive. Placement is important as well. Face tats are a turn-off. That's it, though. As long as the tattoos are tasteful and decent looking, I don't care where they are (face exempted) or how many of them…

I saw It Follows (2014) yesterday. Talk about worst STD ever...

I prefer eating a light breakfast (i.e., boiled eggs, a banana, etc) beforehand. I don't like exercising on an empty stomach. As for the evening...I prefer to wait at least an hour before I exercise otherwise I'll feel heavy and sluggish. If the meal is particularly heavy I'll get cramps, too.

Strippers, obviously. :) Others: firemen, librarians, artists, musicians.

I'm a barista at a high-end cafe. There are some aspects of the job I enjoy, but for the most part...no, I can't say I like it very much, let alone love it. I'm highly introverted so constantly being constantly surrounded by people is utterly exhausting. My co-workers are trying, my manager could tempt the pope to murder,…

Same. It doesn't help at all that I'm the type to earnestly compliment other people's accomplishments/attributes. I'm also pretty intense (at least, that's what I've been repeatedly told), so that's another thing I have to watch out for lest I be seen as trying to flirt when I'm really, really not. It can be really…

I can't answer this Q as I live in the US, but most of the larger markets I've been to have some kind of high-protein bread. Also, I have no idea what Greek Yogurt you're eating, but Oiko's Triple Zero Greek Yogurt has 15g of protein. As for protein bars--I'm not a fan myself, but I swear I'll write sonnets about Quest's…

This. I buy frozen greek yogurt (Yasso is a good brand) because I know there's no way in hell I'd be content eating a single serving of ice cream, especially the good kind. I used to eat 1-2 pints of ice cream a day. :cold_sweat: Have you tried Halo Top ice cream? I've yet to, but I've heard really good things about it.…

- Burrito bowls (ground turkey, low-fat cheese, black beans, brown rice, onion, pepper, corn, spinach) - Cheesy Cauliflower bread sticks - Baked potato chips My brother's making wings, chili, chips, and various dips (guacamole, spinach, cheese, salsa, etc). He's also baking a an upside-down pineapple cake. My sis is…
