I don't check in here often because I've been dealing with multiple losses and going to an RE. Last Friday, after round one of IUI, I tested positive! This want a total shock, though, as I get pregnant pretty easily. Now the anxiety sets in. I'm cautiously optimistic, but also a nervous *kitten* wreck. I can't miscarry…

Pork Ragu -healthy :) 1 boneless pork shoulder 1 diced red onion 1 large can diced tomatoes (we've tried different variations, too... Like adding a jar of carmelized onion tomato sauce and it's delicious) 3 bay leaves Salt, pepper to taste (My husband likes to add red pepper flakes) Set on low for 10 hours. Stir. Enjoy! I…

Healthy crab cakes!! Mix fresh crab meat (1pound) with 1 egg. Stir in a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce, a squeeze of brown mustard, and the juice of half a lemon. Chop one red pepper, half an onion, and a clove of garlic. Mix well. I add a bunch of Old Bay, a little salt, some ground black pepper, and a few red pepper…

@Kirstie155 thanks! Try not to worry, as that doesn't help! Genetics may play a part in getting pregnant, but every woman is different. My mom struggled but my sister has four! She thinks about getting pregnant and carries to term lol I get pregnant easily but cannot sustain the pregnancy. Things that will help when TTC:…

On this thought... How can I tone up the booty without knee-intensive activities?

My snacks are usually fruit: two clementines, a cup of berries (any and all!), A green apple with a tablespoon of almond butter... Sometimes I'll grab a small handful of mixed nuts and eat them slowly. I'll also stock up on healthy bars (and just stash one in my bag so that I have something if I'm feeling hungry on the…

Green apples and almond butter!!!!!

While we are talking about PB... I was wondering if there really are more health benefits to switching to almond butter? I love them both, but was curious about the nutritional side of this?

Hiiii!!! I had two back to back miscarriages (one in September and one in December). Nervous, so we went to a reproductive endocrinologist. I'm about to start injectables on Saturday (probably Follistem). We opted out of Clomid (1. Because my mother had over-stim on it and they were nervous it might happen to me and 2.…

Ah! This happens to me, too! I stop at the thirty minute mark, do something else, and if I'm feeling motivated, I'll go back! Hope that helps :)

NOOOOOOOOOO true red velvet is red because of beet juice!!

Checking in. Hubby and I finished all rounds of testing with a reproductive endocrinologist (no trouble TTC, but recurrent miscarriages). They found nada. Nothing. Zero. Zilch. Totally counter intuitive, but we were kinda hoping they would find *something* so that we could correct the problem. We meet with the doctor again…
Does the scoop of fiber dissolve in your shake?
Yep! But with the dairy free shakes, I have to blend then with water and ice in an actual blender. When I took the regular isa shakes, I could just add cold water, a scoop of fiberpro, and protein to a blender bottle. Either way, it dissolves and has zero…

I am obsessed with my isagenix shakes (I use the dairy free ones). I have one for breakfast in the morning every morning. So does my husband. I add a scoop of fiber (because I take an iron supplement which causes, ummm, stoppage if you catch my drift), but they keep me full until lunch time! In the past, I've done a strict…

I did something similar! No gluten, dairy, soy, refined sugar, or red meat. It is tough, but for recipes you can google Whole 30 and Paleo friendly recipes :-) try to stay away from eating out as much as possible. I make a lot of crock pot meals, which helps with food prep for the week. ... And I disagree with the person…

Get rid of the bad stuff. Literally. Throw it out. Donate it. Just don't have it around. Replace it with healthier snacking options. (My fav is a scoop of almond butter with a green apple.) If you can't access the bad stuff, you won't be able to eat them :-) after a while, you'll just naturally hesitate towards healthier…

I would love a mentor. Here's my blurb: Brand new to this as of today. 32 year old female who has always been naturally thin. Had two back-to-back (very) recent miscarriages which changed my body drastically. Am seeking advice on nutrition and fitness from another female who is also TTC as I go through the process of…
