...Pernod..... I'll leave that there.

Beat me to it - beauty is, you've already logged it too so can just pick it from 'recent'.

Hi. Try under Home > Check In. Log your weight and body measurements in each box. Good luck

Dude - I had same thing, for same reasons. Someone on MFP recommended a probiotic yoghurt every day and that sorted it right out. Good luck

In my humble experience - most of those kind of shops don't sell 'weight-loss' friendly snacks. I highly recommend you make your own lunch then you know exactly what's in it and can log it to the gram. You add more protein to it if you need it etc. Takes less time that walking to the shops, searching, queuing and walking…

Sounds good to me. If you go too low too quick you might feel like you're on a diet! :-) Slow and steady will teach you about food, portion sizes, calories, satiety and, more importantly, what works for you. Weigh and log everything and eat foods you like that fit your calorie goals. Best of luck!

A guy I'm working with has lost almost 50lbs through diet and exercise and is now off all T2D meds and has been officially in 'remission' for months. All his stats are now normal or thereabouts.

Why? Sorry, confused...

Strange. I've puked twice after McD's (UK) but never BK. I rarely eat junk food any more but used to eat veggie 'meat' when I was pescetarian. I'd give the Whopper a go I reckon if it makes it to Blighty.

I was same for a few months and someone on MFP suggested having a yoghurt. Started having a probiotic one every day and sorted me right out. Back to clockwork now.

I die as I fall from the second floor of my office onto the car park. Thanks for that... :-)

Strong 1st post in 8 years, sir.

Try adding Decline Bench Press for lower chest. Don't be embarrassed by your bench - who cares in the grand scheme of things? Just keep upping it gradually each week. Best of luck

Hi. Looking at your exercise dairy for the last week - you're attributing far too many calories to your steps. I've just done a 55min walk at a fair pace and it was around 230 cals and approx 3.5 KMs. You have a 7KM walk down as 1,931 calories.... Either you're double counting via Fitbit/Step counter or there's something…

Not quite sure what you mean by 'points' there. Strength Training is listed under Cardiovascular Exercise but is sadly a low calorie burn. The benefits you gain from doing it far outweigh that though IMHO. Can you clarify please? Thanks.

Another Yorkie here - a transplant from Hull 20 years ago.

I think MikePTY might mean 'weightlifting straps'. (I have to take it that OP means grip strength failing not grip slipping). I've started to fail on BB Shrugs too due to grip and the gloves don't help. OP - you can use that hand placement for Deadlifts so there may be no reason to stop. Others more knowledgable than me…
-
Yeah, give it a go - tiny bit though (as my Doctor suggested too).

OP I feel your pain. For nearly 2 years I was waking at about 4AM and that was it for the night. With work, kids and training I was turning into a wreck - not seeing progress as I'd liked, and picking up minor injuries and strains (although I am 10 years older than you so...) I eventually did some research on Histamine…

If the Male side makes everything seem 2 inches bigger then I think we know what that's for.... :-) (Couldn't resist)

I don't know - how much 'good' did a night out do you - where you relaxed, ate and drank and enjoyed yourself...? I take it you don't do this often so ease up. We all need a reboot occasionally. You'll probably be heavier on the scale from a bit of extra water but that will be gone in a couple of days. Don't sweat it, move…

Dude, I have 4 kids, a full time job, and do volunteer work and still weigh and log everything I eat and drink! :-) Combined with 3 times a week in the gym it's meant I've: * lost the initial weight I set out to * maintained that loss for a period of time * put on some muscle and got into a healthy routine of doing…

"I lost 1lb a week on average eating 1800 cals per day. In order to achieve the above I weighed and logged EVERY single thing I ate and drank." Yes - weighing IS a thing. That's how I knew I was eating 1800 cals. When I eyeballed portions I was out sometimes by 1/3 - I'm looking at you pasta! Choose your hard.

I'm 5' 9", Male, 48 years old, and when I was 168lbs (last March) I lost 1lb a week on average eating 1800 cals per day. In order to achieve the above I weighed and logged EVERY single thing I ate and drank. I even logged my 15 min cycle to work, and weekly hour long walk + strength training 3 times a week and ate back…

Don't know why @dubird got Woo'd. Solid advice that works I'd say.
