SW 235 GW 160 LW 200 TW 198 -2 # back at it!! :) @HoisierBecky I agree don't be too hard on yourself! I trust you enjoyed your vacation. So excited for ours though not until Sep and it's off to the…

First off congrats on the weight loss!!!! WTG!! You didnt mention whether you strictly watch your salt intake? I can sure tell when my salt intake is a little up from usual. Especially, in my feet!

Thank you for sharing. Such a great reminder that mental health is so very important. You mention coping skills - I often wish there was a way to be sure children learn various coping skills while young. Life is full if ups and downs and having a strong set of these skills can make such a difference in how these trials are…

SW 235 GW 160 LW 199 TW 199 - 0 (again!) Lots of things going on. Been eating pretty much at maintenance vs deficit. Hoping not to gain as taking steroid dose pack for poison ivy (ugh!). Having lots of guests over the next couple weeks and will focus on increased activity to provide balance. Keep on keepin on

Agree with others about finding support where you can. MFP community is wonderful! I'm sure your spouse and others near and dear do care about you and want you to succeed. It may be they're going through their own internal dialogue wondering how your weight loss will affect them.

You can DO it!

Work stress is the tough since so much of our waking time is spent there. I feel for you! All the advice you've gotten is great - though some of the things are tough to do when in rhe middle of the situation leading to stress. As changing jobs isn't an option, maybe retiring a little earlier is in your future. If your…

This helps me want to stay the course!

OP I sense you're ok with a slow loss. I wonder if you may feel less deprived by keeping one meal a day "normal" for you and focusing on tbe other 2 meals and snacks as the healthy low cal parts of your day. I'm down 35# so far this year. There have been a few weeks when I've had more than usual calories at supper, but…

@tinkerbellang83 I'm looking forward to hearing how you're doing with c25k. Do you have any knee issues? Mine come and go. Much better overall with the weight loss. In the past I've had horrible shin splints when trying to run. Yet, I've been thinking about trying it when I get below 190#. Please keep us posted! You go…

This past week has put me to the test. Hubby had a cardiac event and then open heart surgery. He is doing well and we feel blessed and very thankful. I am an emotional eater, and while tempted to pick up fast food to and fro hospital, was able to refrain. No wt loss but no gain either. SW 235 GW 160 LW 205 TW 205 - 0 #

You've got this!!!

You might want to take a look at the DASH diet. Very healthy - focuses on servings per day vs counting calories. By doing this you are controling calories in, though might be a gentler aporoach for you since not actually "counting"

Losing the 25 is a wonderful accomplishment! I'll be 60 in a couple months. For the most part I keep my net daily avg over a week at 1200 and am down 30# in 4 mo. As many have said on these threads- slow and steady wins the race. I eat what I want, try to make healthy chioces and when there's something not so healthy, I…

I see it in your shoulders too. That's somehing I've noticed in my own pics. Neckline keeps dropping (same top) as my shoulders are slimming. Who knew there was a neck in there somewhere

Same here!!!

Gotta love an ice cold beer! I just be sure to make room for it in my calorie count. That "allotment" will vary depending on what type of beer I'm in the mood for
