Hi! I'm Emily, live in Ohio, queer. I came just shy of reaching my goal weight a few years ago but with Covid and my love of eating, I'm almost back to where I started and trying again. I'm on here most every day and I love seeing everyone's accomplishments and cheering for them!! I can just be kinda shy when it comes to…

I've missed live events the most: concerts, musicals, festivals! No Pride festival again this year in my town :'(

Whiskey or tequila, straight or in a mixed drink. And I like to go to the numerous breweries around me and try different craft beers. Otherwise, I really only drink water anymore

Nice, friendly people who share their progress and what works/doesn't. I always find the LGBT community to be one of the nicest in fitness settings so that's the original reason I joined here. I also describe myself as queer :)

lol way too many! Longest lasting, Rachel Weisz since I was a kid (the Mummy). Recently, Chris Hemsworth and Adele. I'll hop on the Jason Mamoa train too :D

Goals for the year is to lose 15 lbs and then maintain (which is always the hardest part for me, hence needing to lose that quarentine15). I recently took up bouldering/rock climbing so I'm looking forward at getting better at that!

I like steak as well! Seasoned, grilled, and garlic butter when it's done!

I struggle with this too! What I've been trying lately is getting my friends to cook at someone's house instead of going out. I feel a lot less pressure to eat/drink when in the comfort of a house/apt and not a bar/restaurant. I also pitch it to them as saving money and that works better for some of them.. I've also been…

I got my shoulder mount yesterday! It honestly seemed like it would never happen and then it just kinda happened. Woah!

That's so exciting! I'm rooting for you!

I just got a pole at home so I am very excited to be able to do pole specific workouts. But, accomplishments this week, got a pair of 7" Pleasers and didn't die while walking in them (I'm just starting to break into the heel world of pole). And I hit my split grip Ayesha without anyone holding me!

I'm around! Hi!

MY PEOPLE! I did the low low cal thing a few years ago thinking I would a lose a bunch of weight: NOPE! I just felt miserable all the time and had no energy to workout. I'm in the 1800 range, usually like 2 or 3 workouts a week, and it has been so much better. I don't track well on the weekend and you'll also catch a…

Hiiii, I'm here! This group seems to go through its spurts of involvement and then goes quiet for awhile  Also, yes! Happy Halloween, all (because I celebrate like all month)! And candy can be okay in moderation, at least that's what I tell myself when I need a piece of chocolate haha

I don't complete mine or anything but I'm pretty good with logging food through the week (weekends are a bit iffy lol). I also enjoy looking at other's logs because I too am always looking for new recipies/meal preps to try

Hi! I'm Emily and I'm glad to see another active thread! I've been on and off for a few years but this past year has been the most successful. I tried some new exercise-type things (pole dance/fitness, yoga, and hiking/climbing) since I hate going to the gym and lost about 20lbs with those. Currently at the trying to…

I've been out of it for a little bit because life got in the way. When I ended, I finally got an inside and outside leg hang without a spot. Class is tonight, hope it's not too bad after a few weeks off.

That's amazing! Very well done!!

Working out is not my forte, especially not sticking to anything. I do however try and hike and do yoga whenever I can (gonna go attempt to climb a (small) mountain in about a month). I also take pole fitness classes and I firmly believe that that was what helped me lose the 20lbs I have in the 8 months.

I am always so sweatttttyyy!! I usually do Dry Hands for the hands (and sometimes the feet for Cupid and such) and iTac2 for legs (knee-pit and inner thigh).

Hello! I had the same issue! I love my girlfriend but, my goodness, we really did have that "cupcake phase" both figuratively and literally. I'm back here too to drop all those sweets I ate haha good luck on your journey!!

Age: 24 Height: 5'6 Highest Weight: 185 Current Weight: 165 Goal: I'm less about numbers and more about liking what's in the mirror Location: Ohio I kind of disappeared from MFP for a couple months but I'm back and ready to keep going at it! Love and luck to all :)

Columbus here :)

I personally feel like I have to dress rather "chapstick" since, because of body issues, I don't feel comfortable in traditionally femme clothing (especially clothing that shows thigh). Also, too chubby to be one of those sporty, "Snapback and Nike" lesbians. But I've also got long hair, which, of course means I couldn't…

Columbus here too!!

Just graduated from engineering school! Put on ~25 lbs during my years there and still having trouble finding time to workout/eat well with my new job. Good luck, everyone!
