I find mostly that not over eating helps me feel more energized. When I'm very full or stuffed, I'm very sluggish and prone to be less active.

I'd stick with whatever you can keep down or what you'd eat if you had the stomach flu or were sick. If you can get anything down, try for higher calorie dense things, peanut butter, bread, noodles, junk food Sorry can't be of much help but hope it's ends quickly and you find some answers with a doctor.

I tried to make a lighter menu with seafood but will have cake. I'll eat and be happy, try to fit in some physical activity and keep it moving for the next day. I will log and try to be reasonable but not stress going over one day.

I think you need to pick one and stick with it for at least a month. You can try plugging in your stats to mfp and try that.

Put your stats into my fitness pal and try it for a month and evaluate if you need more or less

I've seen a lot of articles that talk about how less sleep impacts our decisions and we make worse choices, such as reaching for caffeine and junk to stay awake.
