I used to heat my lunch up (if needed) and then, like everyone else - go to my car and eat on nice days and walk the rest - if it's cold, I still sit in my car and maybe close my eyes for a bit or read. I drink an 8oz glass of water at 6am as I'm getting ready for work. I have been on Lexapro for about 3 months and I actually lost weight. It really decreased my appetite. I think everyone is a bit different when it comes to meds. I know people that have gained weight on BC, but I never did. Good Luck everyone!

I have been where you are - or I would lose a little and feel good and just slip right into old habits. I know, for me, I have to want it badly enough that I easily say "No" to sweets and fried foods and I weigh, measure and log everything that touches my lips. It's not easy, but you'll get there!!

I appreciate my Mom who worked 2 jobs while raising me as Mom and Dad to give me what I needed and teaching me the meaning of working hard for what I want. She truly is my hero and inspiration :)

I don't consider it cheating - but I do log everything that touches my mouth. If I have an under day, over day or a waayyy over day ... it is what it is. I don't feel guilty and just jump back on the ship the next day!

I don't salt much at all ... but if I do, I use the absolute smallest measuring spoon I have, measure it and then dump it in my hand and only use about 1/2 of what I measure ... I'm not a huge salt person though.

I just finished a bowl of roasted brussel sprouts, asparagus and zucchini ... so low in calories, but I genuinely enjoy them. I just cut out carbs for 1 meal ... no more toast at breakfast, but will use bread or pitas for lunch ... just have to plan and think ahead.

I've lost 6 lbs. in 4 1/2 weeks. Although the scale isn't dropping (yet) rapidly, I overall feel better. More energy, I sleep better and my clothes overall fit nicer. I'm in this for the long haul :)

Don't think of this as a diet , it's a way to change your lifestyle for good - because we can still eat/drink whatever we want as long as we are accountable for everything we put in our mouths.
