This is a possibility. It was just 2 days, but I could see that being part of the issue. I think I'll give it a try! I always feel like I deserve a break for being so good during the week. But maybe for now I should just buckle down until I get some lbs dropped! I also reduced my calorie intake for now, just to get ahead.…

What I do is set my calorie intake to include my exercise. I've been adding my workouts just to see the progress, but typically didn't eat more than my 1650 allowance or close to it. I adjusted my calories to an active setting and will try to stay within the 1450 calorie restriction. We'll see how that goes! Thanks!

So my weigh in isn't as promising as I had hoped. Only lost .2 lbs. But considering my weight ballooned up a bit after last weigh in, I think I lost more. I know it's only a few weeks in, but I'm feeling frustrated I'm not losing more. I'm counting calories like crazy, working out almost every day, on top of walking at…

1/1- 160 1/8 -157 1/15- 155 A 2 lb loss. Not bad, just hope I can keep up this pace!

I'm training for a 5k anyway! So this sounds great!

Jan 1: 159.8 Jan 8: 157 2.8lbs lost so far! I've been diligently tracking my calories and drinking half to 3/4 of a gallon of water per day. Exercise is limited until I go back to school due to not having a gym where my folks live. But i did decide to participate in a 5k this spring! Having a goal in mind will help me get…

I decided I wanted to start training for a 5k as well, I have that app but haven't used it yet. Went for a jog outside today to see where I was at. Good luck!

I'd love some lifting tips/ workout suggestions as well!

I'm in the same boat! No advice yet, as I am struggling with the same issue. I'm just going back to when I started this journey, tracking everything I eat, trying to make good decisions. You can add me as a friend and we can help each other through this. I think the support from here will be my biggest help!

I'm in! always looking for support and it helps me to help others too!
-
No I made it up! But I'm down. Add me as a friend and we can help each other as well!

Ditto! There's all sorts of groups in the forums. I'm part of a "lose 20 by easter" and I'm hoping all my new friends on here can help with motivation and accountability. I can help you too!

Thanks! I struggle with my inner monsters quite a bit and my roommate is getting sick of my food obsession lol. I've been on MFP for over a year doing the wt loss thing on my own. I had no idea I could add friends and get support from others in the trenches!

I'm in!
-
I'll add you as well! Need some encouragement too. I also had lost some weight and gained it back, it is so frustrating.
-
I just saw your post! I'll add you!
-
Looking for the same! I'd love to help. How do I add you?

I'm finding getting back on track with my eating is proving more challenging than expected. I've up'd my workout routine, but it just makes me want to eat more. Especially after Xmas there's quite a bit of leftovers and of course chocolate!
-
I'm definitely going to struggle with weight loss until I go home and away from all this food!
-
Well as hard as it was to do, I got on the scale. Cw 159.8- make it a cool 160 Goal wt by easter: 145 Ultimate: if I can get to 140 and maintain it, I'd be happy

These last few weeks have been disastrous for my eating. I'm home from school and with the holidays here, I've been really slipping. 1. Keep track of food on MFP, this has been the one thing that has always helped. Not necessarily saying I cant have a particular food, because that always ends up with me eating said food…

I'm in as well. I did really well over the summer, but have slipped during the winter and holidaies and now need to get back on track. 20 lbs would be great, but realistically I'd be thrilled with 10!

Thanks! My other problem is living with my parents still. I usually do the grocery shopping which helps a lot. But my mom especially will bring things like cookies into the house, and she won't buy just one kind. It's like 2 or 3! I see why I struggle with weight. Sometimes I can curb my craving, if I have better…
