Thanks for the responses. I've been getting on the treadmill for weeks and realized I needed some strength training so I did a workout DVD. That caused major muscle soreness, but I am all good now. :)

I did 2 rounds (12 days) of steroid packs for my sciatica, and it no longer bothers me. Sleeping with a small memory foam pillow between my knees helped too. Before that I found sciatica tablets and drops from Vitamin Shoppe that temporarily helped.

Thank you. I hurt so badly, but I was able to do an 8-minute ab workout and 3 hours of yardwork that wasn't terribly strenuous.

msalicia07, I fully support you in this journey and would love to try it someday. Good luck and I hope you get the results you are looking for!

I've done lemons and oranges and wasn't a big fan. I have some limes I can try. Cinnamon sticks is something I will definitely try!

Apple cinnamon tea sounds good.

I have a 24oz infuser bottle and fill it with cucumbers daily. I love it.

And yes, I have been drinking Acai Dieter's and Cleansing Tea for years now. It's a better alternative than laxatives for my issues.

I do lots of coffee too. :)

All good ideas. I used to be a smoker too so maybe I will always have that tick. It's like always having to be in my rocking chair. Always moving but never getting anywhere. :)

Honestly, people don't seem as friendly here as in Texas. Welcome to Colorado too!

Thank you all for your responses. I'm getting a Garmin Fitness Tracker and some new Yoga DVDs to try so I'm looking forward to it. The challenge may be staying under my calories.

Thank you. I love the ocean too, but I love the weather here too. Especially no humidity.
