Ok thank you!

This is what’s confusing me. I’m not sure how to figure that out.

That’s such a great idea to help out the working parents with no other alternative due to not being able to afford daycare costs or simply not being able to afford any time off. Our church (via online streaming) called us today to “wash your hands, then wash their feet” reminding us that in times like this when we have…

Are you asking for fast results or the best results? Because the way I see it fast is not always best. You need a MINIMUM of 1500 calories each day. Anything less than that is not safe. Your body cannot sustain that for the long term and will rely on muscle for energy (inclding vital organs, which are muscle) when it’s…

I’ll offer up why I personally bought extra TP. On a normal month when kids are in school and DH is at work (I work from home) we go through 12 rolls. Again, that’s a typical month when they’re not home during the day. NOW that we’re being told to stay inside for 3 weeks we are all home 24/7 instead of them being at…

Are you logging calories based on packaging suggestions or weighing every single thing that goes into your mouth down to the gram, including condiments?
-
No, it’s never too late. I’d say log everything even if you go over because then you can look back and see true progress. Not logging overages makes it hard to get a true sense of what’s working and what’s not. And if you have a bad day or eat too much based on your calorie goals that’s ok! Just hop on your bike for a bit.…

Correct me if I’m wrong but according to BMI that’s not even obese, just “over-weight”. How rude and insensitive. Surely he fell in love and married you for your personality too? Idc how “skinny” someone is, a poor attitude would be a major turn off for a lot of people. People don’t just fall in love and marry people that…

Short/petite sedentary can do 1200. You don’t have to be elderly 👍 I’m 5’1-5’3 depending on which dr offfice I’m being measured in (🙄). Because I work from home and have a desk job I get <3000 steps per day unless I put extra effort in. Currently at 122 so if I eat over 1200 I’m either maintaining or gaining. The only way…

That much walking also created a lot of water weight for me. Give it a few weeks and weigh again. I gained 7 after 5 days. Just get back on track and it’ll work itself out within a couple of weeks.

This! Ankle tendonitis is ridiculous. I did 8 weeks of rest+icing+massage+stretches. Tried a super small 1/4mile walk. Nope, my ankle felt itchy on the inside of my skin. Trying another 8 weeks on Monday😔
-
Not everyone has that luxury. Some have injuries that need rest😔

Hey hey! I’ve got PTTD on my right foot and a touch on my left. So here’s the deal. You have GOT to heal this thing or it keeps coming back. You need to do some at home PT. I’m so ridiculously tired of this I’m up to 5-6 days a week of stretches and strengthening my ankles. Just finishing up week 7 today and can finally…

Hard boiled eggs Boil the water, add egg for 12 minutes. Usually around 50-55grams (about 75cal depending on weight) and for me it’s super satieting

Gosh, I’m 5’1, 115lbs and I gain on anything consistently over 1500/day. How do you eat 1800 and maintain 102? (not trying to be rude; I’m genuinely asking)

@doughd2 do you only do crossfit or do you do weights in the weight room too? I've never looked into crossfit so I may be asking a dumb question with that. Do you focus heavy on upper body?

One thing I have recently realized after watching it is that many patients move to Houston and during their move they frequently stop for drive thru meals because they can't cook on the road. I admit, I too am quick to pop in to the drive thru on road trips. But then I got to thinking; my family for example spends about…

I have always been a stress eater. Recently I've started noticing when I'm getting anxious. A 15 min walk is becoming helpful for me personally when I start feeling stressed.

From my experience it's just based on how many calories you have left that changes that number. I.e. If you close out with 300 calories remaining then decide to go eat 200 more calories, log them then close it again the 5week number changes. And in all honesty how often are you going to net the same number of calories…

My kids started aug 7 and we're in Ga. I think northern states start later but not sure. OP it's hard to sit there in front of people and not want to eat even if you aren't hungry. Learn from this and know that next time maybe order a little something for you to munch on. Maybe an a la cart taco if your at a Mexican…

Double post. Sorry, ignore.

I think 5-6oz is about 150 cal? Don't quote me, look it up but definitely have a glass as long as you log it
-
Limit yourself to 5 bites of cake and really savor every single bite. Also do a 3 mile walk, it'll burn maybe 200ish calories, take about 45 mins and will help offset the cake.

I need suggestions. I am so over salads every day. I need quick/easy high volume, low calorie ideas. Looking for 300 calories or less and roughly the same volume as a big huge salad (I usually do 200g of spring mix plus add-ins to give you an idea is the volume I'm looking for.

I quit after Christmas. I sleep better/deeper and have more energy not being on caffeine.
-
I went up and down the same 3 pounds for 6 weeks. One thing that helped me was 1) realizing it had been 6 weeks with basically no changes and 2) to really focus on tighter logging even if I "just had 1 bite" because those add up. The scale is moving again! Just keep going! You've got this!!

When the alarm goes off in the morning

I mix it up everyday but usually some form of: Mixed greens 100g of fruit 25g of cheese 8g chopped onion 2T balsamic (no oil) Sometimes I'll do strawberries and gorganzola, sometimes apples and feta, sometimes raspberries and blue cheese crumbles, or pear and whatever is on hand. Mine are usually around 200cal for a snack.

That if you gain 1 to 2+ pounds overnight or a coupe of days but you KNOW you don't eat 3500+ over maintainence then it's got to be water retention
