I'm personally seeing a lot of definition around your abs, Shoulders, and arms. In fact, I'm pretty jealous of your abs. Many times we are our own worst critic. Keep lifting heavy, keep making it a little bit heavier. But honestly, you look like you're doing fantastic.

I mostly agree when it comes to preserving muscle. But I'd say they're equally important, as they work in tandem. If you lift weights, but eat in too steep of a calorie deficit with not enough protein, you're likely going to lose a fair amount of muscle, because your body won't be able to keep the muscle without sufficient…

Maybe your doctor can up your dosage? Like many medications, unfortunately, wegovy becomes far less effective as your body "adjusts" to it. That's why they say it can help you lose 10% of your body weight.

Track your calories. Make sure you're in a deficit (eating fewer calories than you burn).
-
Yes and no. Your body will always tend to seek homeostasis and it will slow down or speed up various bodily processes in order to maintain more or less your current weight. This is why losing and gaining weight can feel so difficult. The good news is, once you have been at a lower weight for a while, that lower weight will…

If you've been throwing up for a week caliries are the least of your worries. I'd see a doctor.

Because you don't (I'm assuming?) have much to lose, you likely won't see a whoosh, as there's no whoosh there to be had, so to speak. The bigger the body, the more water it can store. Smaller bodies just can't store that much water.

Very true. The companies are awful, I won't deny that. I also watch a lot of Hanna Alonzo. She does a lot of great deep dives into shady mlm's.

It's going to be really key to find other ways of calming your emotions.... yoga, a walk, crocheting, reading... whatever calms you that doesn't involve eating. It won't happen in a day, bit the more other options you give yourself to turn to, the less you will turn to food.

I mean... given how many sex workers there are.... 🤣

Meh, Boss Lee's story wasn't really tragic. She made her choices. Her doctors told her what she should do. She made the decision that she knew better than her doctors. And that's the case with most of these people. I stopped trying to help them. It's not that they don't know or that nobody has told them. They've been told…

This is basically what I do, but I make it simpler.... I know I cooked 2 cups dry rice, and I eat that over 4 meals, so that would be .5 cup cooked per meal. Whether I'm exactly right isn't a big deal, since I know ultimately I eat the whole 4 cups, so in the end, the calories are still more or less accurate.

That can already be done using Google image search. Search their picture in Google images, and if their picture is in a public social media, you can often find them.

Because the OP has their own agenda, and that's not the message they're looking for.

To be honest, if you're losing weight without wanting to, that's something you should look into with your doctor. Do they know you're continuing to lose weight even though you're not trying to? Most doctors would be quite worried about that.

Unfortunately, with binge eating, that's extremely likely to trigger a binge as soon as the kitchen is "open"

Low fodmap isn't really popular on here, and is really difficult to give advice on beyond... look up a list of low fodmap foods. That may be why you don't see much about it.

Only you can decide that your daughter is more important than cheesy fries. Either she is, or she isn't. Every time you choose the cheesy fries knowing it's going to be a problem, you're saying that they are more important than being there for your daughter. That being said, you can get your health under control by losing…

I would talk to your doctor. The high level of restrictive behavior necessary to do keto could be extremely problematic when coupled with an eating disorder.
-
I experience the same thing. It's most likely water retention from a higher level of activity. Then, on your "rest" days your body releases the excess water

Your weight loss has slowed as you have less weight to lose. This is natural and expected. Just keep staying the path. 1-2 pounds per week is a healthybrate of loss.

You got booted out? Strange. Anyway, hopefully you'll find some new friends.

There are ultra processed foods that have been causally linked to cancer. Specifically colon cancer. That being said, no, of course his 1 month McDonald's diet didn't directly cause the cancer. That being said, it makes me laugh any time someone talks about chemicals in food causing cancer, then goes on to down their…

They never logged back in after making the initial post.

My understanding is that Wegovy is just a higher dose version of Ozempic. Either way, hope it works for you!

It's not something they're going to change. People have complained about it for years. There are a number of already discussed reasons that MFP will not and never will change it.

Breathe. Planning your meals is a good start. You're going to have to find other ways to cope with your stress. Try to think of other things that calm you but don't involve food. Reading? Walking? Painting? Breathing? Yoga? Hanging out with a friend? Unless you find other ways to cope, you'll struggle with binging. Learn…

That depends on current weight, height, goals, etc. But, just as with loss, slower is better. Binging on large amounts of high calorie food to put on weight fast is a really bad idea. Just eat a little bit more. How much more? More than you ate yesterday. See what your weight does over a couple weeks. Then adjust…

I think, in the end, it wasn't ever intended to be a scientific experiment. It was a documentary. To get people's attention and make them think. Did it work? Clearly not so much given we still have the same issues we did then. But maybe it made at least some people more aware.

The best advice I can give is predetermine a limit per meal (for example, 1 plate, no seconds). Eat SLOWLY. Enjoy the conversation. Only pick up your fork to take a bite now and then. You know you do this every week, so it's not as though this is the last time you'll get a meal like this, so it's no big deal. Keep water on…
