Thank you I looked up "whooshes"

Thanks for the advice, I just wanted to get some feedback if anyone else was having sudden drops like this so I would be less worried.

Butter chicken last week and today some palak paneer.

I use fitbit inspire hr. Take your estimated calories burned from fitbit, and minus the calories consumed that you track on MFP. The difference is your burn.

I never before was able to eat 1200 calories and have energy, but working with my macros has helped a lot and strength training allows me to hit an acceptable TDEE

Good advice. Weight fluctuates with hydration, and what you are consuming or passing. If you are getting multiple readings in the same spot, and they differ by a pound or two then take the average of three readings. Scales are going to be inconsistent. So pull out a flexible tape measure and measure your waist and hips and…

Homemade hummus (you can lower the calories by cutting back olive oil and replacing it with the cooking liquid or water) with cucumber sticks or mushrooms slices to act as the chips. Two bowlfuls of fresh strawberries, like honestly you could eat the entire carton by that point. Nectarine and a coffee with milk 2% or half…

1.Car to go to the gym and store 2. Gym membership which I use minimum 3x a week for weightlifting, cardio and sauna 3. Tape measure 4. water bottle 5. Replacing 3/4 of my snack materials with fruit (cause summer is a great time to do so), and switching that last 1/4 to a flavoured popcorn, or a mega cupcake from a bakery…

@dagrees Wonderful! Keep up the good work and congratulations on how far you have come. All the best.

Oh, you are answering the question of the leanness of the ground meat. When I first read the response I was thinking OPs body fat %, and all the great answers I read before. And then this thought occurred: At OP-what is your body fat percentage? If you are a woman (which I suspect) the aim is to be 18-24%, you can be lower…

I agree with the second option and truly fitting CICO (calories in vs. calories out) to overall weight loss.

I love visiting here and reading these stories. My scale hasn’t gone downwards in weeks, most of the time it fluctuates upwards, despite exercising. My NSV is that while I can’t seem to drop the weight I have dropped a total of 20 cm around my body and the scale doesn’t own me anymore. Using that pink tape measure makes me…

Asthma, atopic dermatitis and a caregiver in burnout. Feel free to add me, I don’t log diet regularly but am open to messages. I use exercise as part of my self care routine and it helps immensely.

I love a simple Mexican rice bowl, but also pho, broccoli slaw, roasted veggies with quinoa, and pretty much any veg Indian curry using paneer. Fav dish is Brie, a fig/red pepper jam, roasted garlic on a little bread with a small salad on the side. Eggplant parmasean if you are feeling Italian. Butternut squash soup or…

Thank you for the suggestion.

Sorry I forgot to answer about my vices, really the big one is inactivity and the second being I love sweets. Right now it is all just out of the house and not purchased but hard to do when family members buy them and literally ask me to get them for them. They are my parents so I have too. But I am switching to…

Sorry I copied the whole text, these are great questions. The first time I lost weight was for high school graduation which was just running and p90x. The second time was last year but the detrimental factor of a stressful year, and poor workout partner and unintentional antagonistic home support. This has been resolved by…

Harvest peas from Costco they have the 100 cal snack bags

The advice here is great eat above the 1500 cals a day, focus on the food at the weight will come off. As for exercise it sounds like those lung conditions are fairly exhausting but you can do a bunch of light exercises focusing on the basics like walking for an extra 500 steps and gradually build from there as your body…

I love volume eating. Dinner last night was a green salad with tomatoes on top seasoned with salt and pepper, chipotle mango seasoning, no dressing (1/3 of my plate), a rice paper wrap filled with greens and a third of a can of tuna mixed with a little sesame oil, mayo, and siracha plus salt and pepper and some finely…

I love ice cream, so if I am eating to indulge that I really enjoy then I want something that is full flavour, just the right kind of sweet that isn't overloaded with crap which is usually what is served in fast-food/less great ice cream places. Making a treat at home means I can have my ice cream days, or I can switch to…

Me: I need to get better about logging but my diary is open and I eat interesting things:)

It may just be a side effect from the medication it may not cause weight gain but it can stimulate 'hunger' maybe go speak with your doctor about your concerns and ask for a recommendation. Other than that one of the things I am doing now to keep myself satiated is drinking a glass of water then adding chia seeds soaked…

chia pudding- you can control the amount of sugar in it but that has been my go to for the last few days

Take a look at your diet, and use the MFP app to track food for a while till you get the hang of everything. Add some activity. :) Good luck.

I am baby-faced, life can be difficult when well meaning but annoying unwanted advice comes my way. I thought it was me but no, it is them. It is definitely them. Also when people are resting between sets and go on their phones, which I do, it is really annoying when those that are on other machines start watching me…
