Awesome! I'm new to the lifting thing, and I really do love it. Appreciate the feedback, y'all!

Hopefully I will have some pics to show soon! I just started the StrongLifts 5x5 program a little over a week ago and am absolutely loving it! If anyone has more advise, please share! Also, I was SO sore after the first day of lifts, but haven't been sore since. I've now completed 5 workouts. Is this normal? Tia!

Amazing transformation!! You look amazing and should be SO proud of yourself! When I started, I had 113 lbs to lose. I have lost 40 so far. I hope to be a success story like you soon! Thanks for the inspiration!

Well okay!! Looks like I'll be joining in his program! Haha. Thank you so much! Can I add you? Also is your food diary open? Just curious on what your calorie intake is and what kinds of foods you are eating. Lol. I'm motivated, so thanks for that!

You look amazing!! Did you do any cardio to achieve these results or was it strictly lifting? I've lost approx 40 lbs from a starting weight of 247. I've strictly done cardio and just started kettlebells. (As of two days ago) The OP is my hubby and it would be cool if we did the same program, but I want to lose weight as…

Omg...it was like I was reading a future post of myself! I lost my first baby as well, and started putting on major amounts of weight. I have since had three healthy babies, 8, 4, and 1 years old. I was up to my highest of 247 at the start of this year, and have lost 43.4lbs so far. I started February 16 of this year. My…

I read that if you drink lots and lots of water, it can help with the wrinkles. My problem is getting the water down. Ha

Quinoa. I can't even say it, let alone eat it. And when I try, it always goes up between my lips, teeth and gums. CANT. STAND.IT. There is just no way to contain it. It stresses me out. And it looks like little baby fish eyes.

Oh my gosh!!! I started at your starting weight and I am also 5'3"! I am currently down 20 lbs! Would love to see your progress pics. I need some inspiration. My goal seems like forever away! Haha

I know how you feel. My boyfriend said he would eat better and start exercising with me, hasn't happened yet in the 4 months I've really been trying. What is even worse is when he is out shopping and buys me junk food that he knows I like. Know he is trying to be sweet but it's sabotaging me. [/quote] Ugh!! Me too! Hubby…

Thank you!! I will look into the socks and glide!

Hey y'all. Hopefully you guys can help a girl out. I am well on my way to losing approx 115 lbs. (I've lost 20 so far). I was born with a very rare hereditary condition that causes blistering on my feet anytime there is friction involved. (VERY tender feet). I have been doing an elliptical machine because this seems to be…

I just did 60 minutes, yes I said SIXTY, on my elliptical!!! Five weeks ago, I barely could get in 15 minutes without dying. Today I slayed that dragon and darn it, it feels GOOD!!!

That's awesome! Don't forget to take measurements. It's amazing to see the inches add up, especially when the scale slows down.

Not sure why that didn't show my comment! Haha. In that number scheme of things, bigger is definitely better! The scale lies to me and let's me down, but the tape measure is my true friend! Lol

I measure everything. Haha Neck, bust, high waist, waist, hips, thighs, calves, bicep area, and forearms. Gives me a bigger number and gives my commitment a boost. Lol

Wow! That is amazing! Congratulations. I hope to follow in your footsteps!
