To spite the heck out of my ex boyfriend. Who never wanted to get married unless I was a size 6. I am now married to the right guy and I'm loosing weight so he can have the woman the ex wanted. (He cares nothing about size but I want the right guy to be proud).

Buying actually nice clothes. Not this plus size bollocks which suit nobody and make you look ridiculous regardless. Not having all these aches/pains anymore and most of all, hopefully getting rid of my menorrhagia. I can't stand the sight of my mooncup any longer.

I got a little picture of me before my journey started about two years ago now, in my wallet together with a list of why I'm doing this. Everytime it gets hard, I take a long look at that. Then walk away from the situation.

This. I don't live in the US but I've heard of this phenomenon. And while its a good marketing strategy, it doesn't belong in a gym. Not with pizza places and all manner of junk food places on every corner. The grease smell would put me off going that day regardless.
