i love chunky peanut butter and a stick of boudin sourdough. just give me a spoon. if it isn't sourdough from the sf bay area you might as well use rye bread.

keep trying. you'll get it. unless it's a recipe i know i'll use i just enter the individual ingredients. other than coffee for me i've never used any of the recipes i've entered.

i have some friends one of which had serious ibs. she's a fitness nut (instructor) and discovered that a raw diet worked for her. he went along for moral support they both feel great. i don't know the particulars but it may be worth investigating. i imagine anything would be worth looking into. btw their raw diet includes…

less of what you eat now. buy a scale, read the forums and do the work. it's pretty simple really. start at a reasonable pace. don't beat yourself up if you blow it either. if what you like to eat isn't healthy don't eat it. find something new.

dewars and soda, short with a twist. or find some protein shakes. yogurt for change up. if you are really tough goat milk kefir. i love it but like scotch it's an acquired taste.

yes weigh it all. even liquids. your scale probably has a button toggle around bteween gr, oz, fl oz and ml. i use the metric stuff because of the smaller increments. the scale is your friend.

the best sandwich ever....off the bbq...mesquite charcoal please...thick sliced sourdough (has to be from san francisco), thick sliced calfs liver and strawberries. a little mayo. the sour from the bread, the sweet from the berries and the liver together is a great completion of flavors.

how do you have meatloaf without onions? are you sure she's really your mom?

chicken breast is not great for crock pots. too tender and lean for slow cooking. slow cooking breaks down tough muscle tissue which overcooks the chicken. maybe buy a stewing chicken next time. maybe try a recipe next time too.

you sound like you've been given a load of bologna which can be quite nice with some mustard . a carnivore is a meat eater which i doubt you are. more likely an omnivore. as a chef i can say that eliminating packaged/prepared food is a much better option. i feed about 1200 mostly kids and then faculty ans staff at an…

i did and didn't and do again. my crock pot is a gas grill. i go to that huge membership place and buy a protein of the week which is stretched over a few weeks. i portion it, marinate it, grill it and cool it. then i vacuum seal a couple of portions together in each sealed bag and freeze it. i keep a rotation of chicken…

aha! i'm the king of cheap. sort of. i like this way of looking at it. bad health is a pretty good motivator but add in bad financial sense and it just got a little easier.
