There's a few ways to get over that motivation hump . Perhaps try going with a friend. Or making a schedule that way going to the gym can be more regular and part of your routine. What i found helpful was joining classes like Zumba or something.

I love that you havr separated time for your family. That is always important for your mental and emotional health which is of course important for your over all health. It's okay to give in, people aren't perfect. Just keep trying! At least you know what to do to redeem yourself in your own eyes. Just grow from your mistakes. I agree you shouldn't deprive yourself entirely, the above strategy is actually a good one! Everyone needs a break sometimes, just try to strategize it :)
