Wow, other than your knee pain that was an incredible trip. The food, the whole experience, the protests. And even lost weight, congrats on that!

Welcome back Jason. Well you already know he drill so you can get right back to the plan. Good luck.

Fanfreakintastic. You must feel great.

Very well done. Persistence paid off and you look great. Make sure its a lifestyle now and maintain your success.

It's amazing how little fluctuation you have. There is no denying that your trend has resumed in a good way.
-
Good to hear that there is some improvement. It's gonna take time of course.
-
Great start! Stick with it and you will begin to realize more and more advantages as you go forward with further adjustments and as your body continues to acclimate. In time it becomes second nature.

You said that weekend weight would come off, and you were right. I have a weekly rollercoaster too. Low weight is on Sunday, then peaks on Tuesday or Wed before backing down again.

My hats off to you Tracey that you can incorporate sweets like that in a measured way and still stay on the decline. I gave up all sweets because I just don't seem to have a built-in regulator to cut it off once I start. If I have one M&M I know it will mean the entire package.

10/1 13.3 Comments: Well this was a big running day for me as I did two runs. In the AM I ran in my first 5K and clocked in at 29:36 which I am super happy with. After a couple hour break I went on my regular Sunday long run of 10.18 miles. Because of the race this was the first time I ran twice in a day. I feel like I…

No I'm not going to jump into any fast training. Since I first headed out to run my first priority has been to not get injured. I'm acutely aware of how even a small injury could sidetrack me for an extended period. I don't have a GPS watch, looked at them, haven't made up my mind if I want to go that way. My motto is to…

Bob it couldn't have gone any better. I felt great going in, well rested, fully fueled, nice crisp clear morning. After picking up my breathing and rhythm around the mile marker, I got into a sustained high pace for me, harder than any pace I've been able to sustain in training runs. I would have been happy with 34 or…

29:42 5K race this morning!! I'm over the moon.

I'm in for the challenge, this is my first time. I only noticed this running challenge in Sept and have been lurking. I've been on a big weight loss journey the past 13 months (lost 175 pounds) and along the way I picked up running as a hobby and really have taken to it. Now that I'm more or less finished with weight loss…

Can see your toes in the photo. :D

Okay thats cool. I've learned that any minor joint issue has to be given time. Hip, knee, ankle, you think all is well but then start back too soon and suddenly ouch! It's back.
-
Way to go Bob. You are a machine now!
-
Every day a step closer. Great progress you're making.
-
Oh dear me that looks good. That is my kind of lunch.
-
Good job, your trend is taking shape again.

@katjustkat oh a homemade pot pie, that sounds and looks delicious. I nearly always run with music, and I've got it loaded with about half techno/EDM music (love the beats) and the other half with my favorite hits from the 70's and 80's. When I run early Sunday mornings I go without the headphones for an hour or so too.…

Make sure to let that knee heal up fully before trying anything strenuous on it. Speaking from experience the last thing you want is to rush back into exercise and have a re occurrence. Good luck
-
Sure thing Joe.

The first healthy thing I did was moving to fresh whole foods while abandoning, sugar, soda, fast food, and highly processed food. The best change I've ever made.
-
Yes it does mess with your head, I've tried to explain that to some people, it's not easy but I can tell you know exactly what it is. Excellent points above Joe, and as usual you're spot on. 1,2, and 3 I can answer yes to for sure. I'm more selective about who I discuss things with at work because there are 2-3 people who…

Great job. You look terrific.
