A little less but fairly close: I started MFP at 153 and was 158 this morning. I've been doing it for about 2 months. So far..... I'm sucking. Its all from eating out on weekends. Chinese food, nachos at the pub, blizzards with the kids. With these foods I find it easy to go 2000-2500 over my calorie goal.

My life in a nutshell. Loose 1-2 lbs during the week, gain 2-3 over the weekend.......... repeat......

^ I know its not great advice for everyone, but its helped stop some over-eating binges for me.

I've learned that my binges come from wanting sugar. A strong craving for something really sweet. I will want chocolate or candy, but because I don't keep them in the house and I'm trying to loose weight, I end up eating some toast, then some cucumber and hummus, then some goldfish, then an apple and peanut butter,…

I feel the same way. I work really hard all week, but one bad meal, small blizzard, or one over-eat out at dinner at the end of the week and I'm right back to square one. Its definitely a thin line when its down to the last 10 lbs. I'll have to work harder and skip the high calorie meals that put me too far over that day.

Well said.

You are not alone! I've been a bit of a binger my whole life. Although I never starve myself or skip a mean. I eat like a "normal" person for about 5 days before having an off night and consuming an incredibly large amount of food between 7-9 pm. Last night for me it was tea, 2 chocolate chip cookies, large cheese bun,…

I get super hungry after my intense aggressive workouts..... I try my best to only eat back a portion but my appetite is very strong after I workout. Wish it wasn't, but I am always extremely hunger so I have to eat.

yes and a few handfuls of Deluxe Mixed Nuts! I need to start reading the calories BEFORE I eat it, not afterwards.

Awesome, thanks for the input. I gained a lb last week (my first full week of MFP) so maybe that's where the problem lies. I'll reduce my workout calories to 300 instead and see if that helps. thanks!

I feel your pain. Since my calorie counting and new boot camp classes, I've been hoping my pants wouldn't be so tight.... Its only been 2 weeks but I was really hoping they'd feel a little lose by now.....

Actually I chose 1 pound a week and it gave me 1200 calories. I don't mind sticking to 1200 calories on the days I don't work out, and 1600 for the days I do..... I just wanted to make sure this was infact correct, and that I wasn't going too low in order to keep muscle and be healthy  (as I've seen a few…
