Hi! I Agree with a lot of what has been said. And congrats on the loss, that’s amazing!! Personally I listen to my body. There are days where I only eat around 800 calories but then eat 2000 a few days later. As long as your net calories consumed for the week are less than calories lost then you will lose weight. My…

Awesome work!! I am also a Ketoer. I will send you a friend request!

Well you are off to good start. Finding people to motivate you and that are going through the same journey is a great first step. It won’t be easy and you will fail on some days but the key is to keep trying and to not let it get you down! Good luck!

Hi! Luckily no kiddos this time around. Just 5 adults and a German Shepherd. I believe we will arrive in Co. 1.5 days before we do our hike. It does seem like I need to invest in some decent poles though!

Thanks everyone for the feedback!! I’m glad y’all are saying my pack shouldn’t weigh that much.. My S/O has done this same trip before and he told me my pack would probably weigh around 65 lbs... glad to know he is exaggerating a bit. I’ve never done anything like this, so it’s all new to me. Has anyone used the life straw…

Hello!! I sent you a friend request!

I sent you a friend request. My biggest advice to you is to find people like you who are succeeding in this battle and let them motivate you. It’s hard to do it alone and even if the people you live with help you through it, chances are they don’t understand it as much as some people on here might. Good luck!

I keep mine on sedentary and let my Fitbit do the rest. That way on actual sedentary days I only eat 1250 cal or less... and on most days it automatically adjusts it. If you don’t have a Fitbit or something like it then I definitely suggest investing in one. The older models you can find for $50 and Work just as well. But…

I’m the same way. Weigh myself every morning. Personally it doesn’t get me down but... I don’t log my weight on here every day but I do log it on the app Happy Scale. It shows your fluctuations over time and averages your weight to give you a more accurate representation of your actual weight. It’s a free app and kind of…

I added you!! I need more active friends!!

Thanks ladies looks like I’ll be ordering one Shock Absorber and I may pick up a Champion and try them both out! I’ve tried Knockout by Victoria secret bras and they are good for lounging around but they fit me oddly when it comes to workouts. Thanks for all the comments!!

I saw your kids are 6 and 4. These are the perfect ages to start instilling healthy eating and exercising in them. Of course you don’t want them counting calories or trying to lose weight, but just teaching them healthy habits. Can you take them on walks around the neighborhood? If not is there a local park? Keeping up…

I am so sorry. Try to keep positive!! Remember that being healthy is a good goal to work towards no matter what the reason is. Sending you hugs and prayers!! Feel free to add me on here for moral support!!

This^^^ bread and tortillas. Also straight alcohol. I drank vodka, water, and lime for the longest time until I realized 1 oz of vodka has about 65 calories!!

It’s only about 2 calories a cup (8 oz) depending on the brand. It’s a negligible amount of calories. If your drinking 8 cups a day the 16 calories isn’t going o hurt you as much as the amount of caffeine you are consuming is.

I try to balance. Usually my goal is 2 pound loss per week. If I lose 3 I allow myself an extra 500 cal a day the next week. So I still average 2/week. For the most part I just eat what I want in strict moderation./portions. I had half a cookie today. And will probably have some dark chocolate later... but just a little.

Awesome!! You’ve got this!!

Of course the obvious answer is black coffee. But.. Try Texas pecan coffee and only use 1 tbsp of coffee mate natural bliss sweet cream creamer per cup. It’s all you need because the flavor of the actual coffee is amazing. At less than 30 calories a cup it’s worth it!! I use the creamer once every few days to switch it up…

If I reach my goal I get back more than I put in. I’d get a check for almost 3 times more than I put in.

I’m in Texas but sent a friend request anyway!! Good luck

I have about the same goal as you! I’ll send you a friend request!!

Like everyone else said... don’t deprive yourself of it. Log it in your calories in the morning so you know you can have it later without going over.

You're right. It does take that "click". No one can get yourself there other than YOU. I want you to do something. Go look in the mirror and look at yourself. And I mean really look at yourself. Are you happy with you? You have to get to a point where you say "enough is enough". I wish I could give you the answer of how to…

Soreness is good. But.. If I'm dehydrated it increases muscle soreness. Make sure you are stretching significantly after any workout. If I stretch before bed and right whenever I wake up in the morning for 3-5 minutes it makes the world of difference. Keep working at it though. As your body gets used to weight lifting you…

I have started to drink once every 9 days. Keeps tolerance down so I drink less and I spend a lot less money. I'm a drunk eater too. Like eat an entire bag of family sized Doritos in 30 minutes. I know it is gross. But I eat less if I have a small meal before I drink. Just moderate. That's the most important thing.

If you are a vegetarian it could be that you aren't meeting nutritional needs. Especially for proteins and fats. Start incorporating lentils, quinoa, peanut butter, and chick peas. They are all good sources of protein. Nuts are good too for healthy fats. Get a food scale so you KNOW you're reaching your calorie goals and…
