I'll definitely keep that in mind. I think I'm going to start with fixing my diet and incorporating exercising. I really do enjoy exercising when I do it, but have the trouble making myself actually do it. I'm trying to get better at it though. I need to improve my health and want to feel my best.

Thank you Jaymi and Dewd. Both makes sense. I was curious about it in general. I know I really need to work on my diet mostly. I was debating which would be more productive, but I know I would like biking better. Haha. Thank you!

Awesome! Thank you.

Thanks everyone. Everything was quite insightful and helpful. I use my bike to ride to work (mostly since I do not have a vehicle) and most days are very nice outside except the summer. Previous at my old job it was 2 miles to get there and 2 miles to get back home, of course. I also used it to bike to the grocery store or…

Hello! I've been on Keto for 7 weeks. Only down 9.1 pounds so far. I've really messed up quite a bit on it. So I'm looking for other Keto/ Low Carb buddies to share advice and help keep me accountable.

I've been on Keto for 7 weeks now. I was doing pretty good the first month. I only had a few mistakes, but the past week or so it's gotten out of hand. I definitely know it's a lot to deal with that I haven't been prepping my meals. But I also feel like I need that extra push that I don't have necessarily. Looking for a…

I was curious if anyone had actually posted on MFP about Keto and glad to see that some have. I've been on Keto for around 7 weeks, but have most definitely messed up a lot. Especially more recently. I'm looking for a buddy or buddies to keep me accountable; so I can succeed. :)

Awesome! Thank you

I have my settings on active because I don't usually casually walk around while at work. I'm walking pretty quickly (occasionally jogging to the back of the store if I'm in a rush), lifting stuff, moving stuff, etc. With the ovens on in the building (building is pretty small) it emanates so much heat as well. I will…

Makes a lot of sense. I think I found the right caloric goal for myself without going overboard or under. I don't think I could eat 1900 calories anymore. When eating I notice the subtle signals that I'm full before I overeat. Some days seem to be more active than others so I try to adjust accordingly. I do make sure I eat…

This sounds like this would be awesome to do. I've lost 20lbs. so far, but I think that may have been by coincidence and not eating as much. I'd like to loose another 15lbs. and then start to work on strengthening/toning my muscles. After that I'd like to maintain my weight, diet, and muscle mass. It's pretty hard to stay…

:) Thank you both

These are all very insightful. I apologize I haven't responded til now. Work had been a bit crazy this week. I wish I could walk around and such. But I unfortunately don't get a lunch break (I eat when I can and if I'm hungry.) And I work in fast food. As a manager I'm constantly needed and can't seem to grab even a minute…

Awesome! Thanks everyone. I kind of figured that would be the case. I plan on tracking my intake still, but I'd like to actually start toning my body now as well. I figure only changing my diet won't help that. XD
-
Not sure if I should do a separate post for this, but I'll try here first. What are good exercises to do in order to tone my body? Such as my arms, back, abs, thighs, calves, etc. I have some basic knowledge, but I'm not sure if it's the correct ones to really help me. I have been doing squat & press, dumbbell row, frontal…

I'll fix that. I believe I'm averaging around 1 to 1 1/2 pounds a week right now. I don't over eat or anything and I do bike to and from work 5 days a week; so, that may be keeping it constant.
-
Awesome! Thanks for the breakdown. :) Super appreciated. I'll look into my food diary and see what I need to do.
-
I just checked and I'm set at loosing 2 lbs. per week.
-
Ohhh... >_> Thanks for pointing that out. I believe it has me set on 2. How do I check to make sure? Hmm... What's the best way to be in a calorie deficit?
-
Awesome! Thank you both

Makes sense. :) I was worried that not hitting the target would definitely be just as bad as over eating.
-
I was originally looking at loosing 40lbs. But I've lost 12 already. So 28now.

Hello all! I've just joined the group because it sounds like a good fit for me. I'm 5'1" and currently at 154lbs. I know that is a bit overweight for my height, but I'm not entirely too heavy. I'm hoping to get down to at least 125lbs or even 130lbs. More importantly I'm wanting to be fit again. When I was younger I had a…

I apologize about the delay in my response. I'll have to look up some nice recipes for using a crock pot. :) I'm not super familiar with it yet. I boiled some eggs recently to help out. I tend to run behind when going to work and then getting home super late I don't eat as often as I probably should. I eat around 1 meal…

I apologize about the delay in response. When I had put my information into MyFitnessPal it's what it had recommended.
