Everytime I'm tempted by something I think: "In 5 minutes, or an hour, or a week, am I going to be glad I ate that?". It helps me to remember that as much as I want to eat it, the pleasure will be temporary and I'll be right back where I was before straight after.

People who walk on their toes, rather than stepping heel to toe, tend to have huge calf muscles. Maybe that's your problem? If so, orthopedic shoes to correct how you walk are an option.

If you need to lose 100lb and you work out 4 times a week, 1200 cals would definitely be causing you to lose weight. I'm 120lbs and never work out, and even I'm losing on 1200. You could take vitamin B12 supplements? I had the same problem with a huge loss of appetite, and taking B12 helped increase it.
