I think one of the best things you can do is set small short term goals. If you are just looking at the big picture it's easy to get discouraged. For example, I honestly need to lose 50lbs if not more. But instead of looking at that big scary number every day, every week I plan out smaller goals. Like complete 3 workouts…

I struggle with chronic pain too. You should check out blogilates on youtube, alot of the workouts require very little movement but still give you a great workout, I LOVE them! As far as food goes, my favorite low calorie meals are made just by switching out one ingredient for another. Like substituting spaghetti squash…

Agreed! Here's my update: I'm down 2.6 lbs this week (yay!) But.... I'm also struggling with pain due to degenerative disc disease and have been unable to get any excercise in for 2 days :(
