• I'm coming in middle of the month-ish.. I can do 30 miles from now until the end of July, for sure. I will still try for 40 or 50 though. :-)
• BPC!! BulletProof Coffee, coconut oil, Butter, heavy cream, stevia(I still use Splenda though not everyone agrees with it) and a little sf flavoring and blend it up. It gets so frothy, it's amazing!!
• I was Keto for 3 months last year, lost 30 lbs and then went to "lazy keto" which got so lazy I gained it all back.. day 5 back at it, and I'm down 5 lbs already! Gonna get back to it full time.
• Heavy creamer is allowed in the WOE, but most yogurts have a ton of carbs. Just count them in your app, and make sure the macros fit. I know there are some low carb yogurts, but I haven't tried them yet. :-)
• "The SAD is known for the relative *lack* of whole grains, not an emphasis on them.
And a lack of veg and fruit...
I am Keto..again. I eat between 20 and 50 grams of carbs a day, and do not count the carbs from my vegetables (except corn and potatoes and those that are pretty starchy). I don't eat a lot of…
• I have been Keto since February. There are so many low carb options available that I'm almost never wanting to cheat. I've found some low carb pitas that take the place of bagels for me.. makes it easier to maintain.
• Falling in Love, having your 17 year old hug and kiss you in public, Really warm socks out of the dryer on a cold day....
• Welcome!!! This community can be very helpful, but you have to WANT it for yourself. I find encouragement here all the time, so it's a great place to come to vent or chat. Good Luck in your journey. It won't be easy but it sure is rewarding!!
• I find that I accept most people regardless of their size. If they're happy with their lives and in their skin, I cannot tell them it's not right. We're on this earth so briefly that if you can find happiness, embrace it.
• I avoid most trans fats, and lean more toward fresh real butter and seed oils, avocado oils etc..
• When you cut carbs, you need to increase fats to feel fuller. Healthy fats, of course. I eat a lot of eggs, bacon(healthy-ish) and avocado. I also eat a lot of cheeses and meats, I looove steak!!
• As I said initially "Healthy fats are fine".. those are the fats that I have increased. Olive oil, butters, creams, avocados, peanut butter etc.. I was simply attempting to inform the OP that fats are not the "enemy". But again, everything in moderation. Obviously on a keto diet the Macros are skewed toward fats, and…
• You will be tired in general and sick feeling (most people experience this and call it the "keto flu"). Bored with the food? What are you eating on average? I got tired of eating bacon and eggs so I started experimenting with fathead Pizza dough, low carb wraps, chicken wings, etc.. the possibilities are really endless,…
• I never advocated total elimination of any food. Ketogenesis occurs when your body begins to burn fat as fuel instead of carbs. So it IS possible to reduce sugar, but I never advocate to cut out anything entirely. That is the way to set oneself up to fail.
• The keto diet encourages the extreme reduction in the amount of white sugar, and even fruit sugars that are consumed. I didn't encourage the reduction of sugars to zero, as it's next to impossible.
• So, eat 30 teaspoons of sugar every day for a month... then eat 30 baby carrots everyday for a month.. let me know how you feel at the end of each month.
• The website I pulled from indicated fruit sugars are okay, and I agree to a point, but also fit them into my Keto diet, having a few berries here and there while staying under 20 grams of carbs per day.
• Not unless you're going to allow pre-existing conditions to allow companies to charge a higher premium. In which case those who have Diabetes/PCOS/Leukemia/Cancer etc... will also pay a higher premium... which is lame. I feel like everyone should have a set premium.

• Healthy fats are fine, but most sugars are superfluous. "Because sugar is such a major source of empty calories, however, the American Heart Association recommends certain daily limits. If you’re male, you should have no more than 150 calories from sugar daily; this equates to 9 teaspoons or about 38 grams. As a woman, you…
• I gotcha.. wasn't trying to be jerky about it, if it came off that way. Just wanted to address it in my own way. :-)
• **OFF TOPIC to a degree, but the term "friendzone" has always bothered me for the following reasons** Because a girl (or guy) are not required to reciprocate ones feelings. "False promise" purports that someone is attempting to "fool you" into being their friend with a promise of something more being owed. However, nothing…

• Keto diet will allow you to drop weight relatively quickly, but that might be too extreme. Just do the best you can and have the dress let out.
• If you're full... then just leave them there. You are not a trash can to shovel food into just because you can. If I'm full and still have calories left, I will go for a walk.
