Let's face it one of the biggest reasons why we gain weight are sugar and fats...let's say goodbye to them and move forward to a healthier and better life

You do know that your body needs a certain amount of dietary fat to be healthy? Saying goodbye to all fats would therefore be a pretty bad idea.
PS: I gained weight because of eating too much of everything.29 -

Meh. I generally eat whatever I want within my calories and aim to get somewhere near my macro goals. Fat satiates me so there's no way I'm giving it up or even cutting back. I'd be miserable. I don't chug soda, but I'm not afraid of a slice of birthday cake or a serving of ice cream, and dark chocolate makes a regular appearance in my day.
Fat and sugar didn't make me overweight. Eating too much of everything did. Eating less of everything is now doing the opposite.18 -

So certain sugars are special? I'm sorry, but to me, cutting out sugar means cutting out ALL sugar, no exceptions. OP made no restrictions on what sorts of sugar or fat.6 -
I'd rather say goodbye to pseudoscience and dieting myths and focus on the real cause of my weight gain - too many calories from lots of different kinds of food and too sedentary of a lifestyle. This awareness has enabled me to lose weight, achieve a healthy and active lifestyle, while still enjoying all the foods I love in moderation.
That's how I moved on to a better life.36 -
OP, the ONLY rule to weight loss is to eat fewer calories than your body uses in a day. It doesn't matter (for weight loss) whether those calories are sugar, fats, carbs (which sugar is), or protein. It doesn't matter what time of day you eat those calories. It doesn't matter if you eat them all in one sitting, or in six different small meals per day.
ALL THAT MATTERS FOR WEIGHT LOSS IS EATING FEWER CALORIES PER DAY THAN YOUR BODY USES.

Nope, the reason why I gained weight was because I ate too many calories. My diet had lots of carbs, fat and protein - just way too much of everything. Know what happened after I started counting calories while still eating sugar and fat? I lost weight.9 -

Depends on the type of fat - there are "good" fats:
Saturated Fats - Found in red meat, butter, ghee, lard, cream, eggs, coconut oil (MCTs) or palm oil
Monounsaturated Fats - Found in extra virgin olive oil, avocados, avocado oil and macadamia nut oil
Natural Trans Fats - Found in meat from grass-fed animals and dairy products
Natural Polyunsaturated Fats (Omega-3) - Found in fish, fish oil, flaxseed and chia seeds

I'll keep my olive oil, fruit and veg, and caramel syrup, and the occasional candy or cookie, OP. I've done that for the past two years and have managed to lose 90 pounds.

The website I pulled from indicated fruit sugars are okay, and I agree to a point, but also fit them into my Keto diet, having a few berries here and there while staying under 20 grams of carbs per day.1 -

Complete non sequitur because it is not a comparable amount. Plus you should be weighting in grams if you are serious about losing your weight; inaccurate measurements are likely your primary problem if you can't lose weight. The 75 g of baby carrots I had yesterday as one of numerous servings of veg had 4 g sugar. I would be perfectly fine consuming an additional 4 g of honey or table sugar each day. But no one here is saying eat 2/3 cup of pure sugar a day, are they?18 -
