Yeah, I still don’t have my nachos...so, healing is officially stagnant 🤷🏻♀️

Sushi! I’ve tried so hard to like it, but 🤷🏻♀️
-
Oh, nachos for sure.

Yaasss. Nachos. The new ‘I’m over it food’. I like that 😬

Hey you. Yes, you. I’m sorry.

I too struggle with self love and self confidence. I completely empathize with how you feel. It’s difficult to be motivated when you feel as though you’re not worth it. I decided to let myself feel whatever I was feeling, inside of pushing it away. I’ve been trying to focus on short term goals and just the single day…

I second physical therapy. They worked wonders for my ankle recently. Also, you can try a heating pad - that has helped my back before. Depending on how severe it is, you may need to take ibuprofen regularly for 1 week (600mg 3x/day). It will help with inflammation so the muscle can heal.

I really appreciate others sharing their journeys: struggles and victories! Feel free to add me 🙂

As a nurse on the frontline, thank you for staying home! I’ve been working more than ever, sadly, and getting my *kitten* kicked in the Covid ICU.

Naughty. Yep.

Sadly, a test prep book. But, waiting on “Black Man in a White Coat” to arrive for my nurse friend book club.

Thinking about the house work I don’t want to do. Procrastinating with coffee #2. Coffee is life. How do you take it?

Hahahaha it changed my curse to kitten. Nice.

*kitten*! Also, you’re allowed to rant. It’s my preferred reaction.

I hope you’ve had a better few days since you posted. I completely understand the struggle! When those old trigger foods, patterns, or emotions sneak up on you, the resolution wanes. 1 lb is not a back slide! You got this. Let’s get this *kitten* done.

I take trazodone at a low dose for sleep, and Prozac for depression. I think I can account for my unhealthy habits as results of poor coping mechanisms. I didn’t have a drastic weight change when starting either one. However, they do affect people differently, and that can be a side effect of many antidepressants. Talk to…

I love the boxing idea!! Perfect. Thank you!
-
I found a routine on Pinterest that has those incorporated. Thank you!

Great advice! I had PT today, and if went well.

I’d love some motivational friends to keep me going!

Also, living within reach of certain ‘kid’ snacks had been a problem for me. I’ve found that when I’m with my family, I do great. But, on days when I’m off and home alone, those are the days when I’m more likely to binge. I’m planning to text my husband what I eat today in hopes that it will help keep me accountable.
