I'm doing p90x , started phase 3 Monday and plan on doing it at least once more when I finish. Not sure what I'm going to do after, maybe body beast.

Nice work man. Didn't think looking like that was possible at 5'8" 170 pounds. Doubt I'll look near that at the same height but inspired for sure. Thanks
-
Try p90x if you like the at home programs. Tony can be very corny but the programs is great imo
-
I joined the new one, don't expect to win but it's no extra work to try. Not a UA fan though, would give it to a family member if I won.
-
I lost 25 lbs so far and if it wasn't for close fit and a tape measure I wouldn't notice anything. Hoping the next 25 will be more noticeable

I set goals for buying stuff I want. Like when I lost 30 pounds last time I bought a nice mountain bike. Rewarded myself with a new pellet pistol this time. Both items keep me active and in the woods so they can be justified in my head lol. Probably go on a nice vacation when I hit my goal weight, maybe a week in Florida…

I honestly don't know what I would be comfortable with. The lowest I remember being was 185 and that was not enough. Looking at others that are my height I'm aiming for 155 to start and I will figure out where to go from that point. Just need to get there :) 50 to go

I have to watch something. Usually start a series on Netflix and see how many miles I can do before a episode ends. I usually play with the incline during it as well for the heck of it and to change things up.

fitting into my smaller pair of jeans. I can button and zip them now but need a little more space in there. Also 3 lbs away from leaving the 200's, thats a big one for me.
-
Would like to know what it's like being in shape before I die and plus it will make my hobbies way more enjoyable.
-
Look in mirror or ride my mountain bike. Both show me I need to keep losing weight lol.

If they have to crush you into it then that's the size. Remember some really big guy *kitten* and complained until they finally used everything they could and get him locked it. When the brakes hit at the end he broke through the lock, broke the girls neck in front of him and fell 30 feet to the ground.

Seems to depend on the person, my fat butt lost over 20 pounds since april. Others drop a few and stall etc... Can't be sure but it will be fun to find out. Just do it healthy and not a starve yourself diet
-
Didn't join mfp until the end of April, lost 7 pounds since I joined
-
Started in April after my physical where I realized how fat I let myself get lol. Start I think 220 or 225 and I currently range from 204-206 and lost 3.5" from my waist. Overall I'm happy with those results but still have 50 to go until I'm really happy. :). Also more of my good cloths I couldn't wear before fit great now.

I only mountain bike, so usually I get out on the weekends. Love it

You don't have a local highschool? Usually they have one and have open to the public hrs. Mine is like a buck or two to use
-
I'm sure playing the drums burns them up. Can work up a good sweat pounding on mine for a half HR or more. Guitar not so much as the only things moving are my wrists and fingers.
-
I did a before and I'll take my after when my program is all done. Then I'll take another after I finish the whole program again.
-
:D great thread. Anyways even my most hated exercises (yoga I'm talking about you), they have their benefits. But damn is it so boring.
-
Yesterday was my sister and her boyfriends birthday party and they got engaged last week. So we had big feast and I ate until I was fat and happy lol. Can't eat like a saint everyday.
-
12 weeks? Seriously? Teach me your ways lol
-
<3 Great work

Did another calcator and it put me at a 1800 min and 2000 for 1 pound a week. So I'm going to bump up to 1800 next week and see what happens.
-
I don't log them. Don't know how I would with the p90x program. They give average calories burned for there workouts. Maybe I should just go back to 1800 as I was losing quick on that as well. And hitting my protein was much easier
-
P90X, but you will be doing 1 hr workouts with the warm up and cool downs.
-
Plus if you like fishing they are way better. alot of room for storage and easier to grab the fish

I'm a sit on top fan. I have a ocean kayak trident 11 and my father bought the 13' version the same day. If your not going to white water kayak go 11+ imo. I personally wish I bought the 13' trident as it tracks extremely well just seems faster. If I was mostly doing lakes I would go 14 without a second thought. Sit on…

Hope you heal fast. My brother sprained his ankle really bad a few months ago. Was in a boot for about a month and a half and has to wear a brace for 6 months now. Was so gross looking, foot looked like a purple balloon for weeks.
