I feel your pain menapause is no fun. I am 3 years post hysterectomy this month. I put on weight after and its harder to lose now.. I really wish I had done this earlier. It's hard but doable, I have lost 2 stone so far. Keep at it, your body is different now and it takes a while to learn what works for it.

Hi.. Yes me. I am newly unwell and slowly coming to terms with my limitations. It has not been an easy journey. it is hard for others to understand hidden chronic illnesses. I am still struggling with the embarrassment I feel around my bodies failings and how others perceive me but I am working on itπ. Feel free to add me.

I too am struggling with post menopausal weight gain.. I'm a few years younger than you but had a hysterectomy and was plunged straight into the menopause. It's not been much fun.π

Hi all. π I started this journey needing to lose at least 51/2 stone or 77lb. I have so far lost 2 stone but it is getting harder. I have good days and bad days. I try to forgive my self the bad days and celebrate the good. It is hard but I am doing it.π

I struggle with sleep too. I do find that some kind of back ground noise helps me to relax if not sleep. With does leave me feeling better rested. I like thunder storm recordings.

Hi. I have set up a profile yes. I am hoping logging everything will really help. I am unable to exercise at the moment so watching what I eat is my only option for now.

That's good to hear. Well done on the weight loss. I hope logging everything has the same effect for me. As you say we can't change the past but I plan to step in to the future confidently. π
