I would also go to a physical therapist. I threw my back out a couple months back and couldn't imagine sitting never mind exercising! I did get back on track with yoga but for the back I would definitely see a specialist who is familiar with your condition and what may be detrimental.

Night shift is tough those are long hours. I remember I really craved carbs and sugar when I did it so as long as you're eating healthy and staying away from those 2 things I think you're good!

I had a doctor tell me once that when I had lost weight that was a success even when re-gained because he told me I did it and I can do it again!

I have checked out her videos but I find that many of the people on there are super flexible and make it a little intimidating. That's why I like Jen because her pace is slow and she modifies things quite a bit for the true beginner. I hope to eventually work my way up to other teachers...

Pahla B has some great beginner guided running on YouTube. I did this in the fall and noticed progress fairly quickly.

I got motivated by looking around on YouTube for exercise videos. I found Jen Hilman and beginner yoga, and I do this every day now. I think it will go nicely with any cardio you choose.

It's a tough crowd on this app...a lot of self-entitled know-it-alls! I'm beginning keto and I have thought about posting on here, looking for advice, but I know it will attract negativity. Instead I ordered a book and am doing my own research...that is what I would recommend and good luck with everything!!

I kicked soda with carbonated water. Poland spring, mostly lemon and lime. It reminded me of soda and I would try to pretend it was! Then I moved to regular water and lemon or lime. Lost all my desire for soda this way.

I have suffered from depression and anxiety for years, and am just getting back on track after 3 weeks of a set-back from this. Each day I look forward to my time after work getting fresh air and sun and exercise helps me also.

I saw an article about tricking your body with a different caloric intake each day. For example 2200 for 3 days, then 2100 day 4, 2400 day 5, 2300 days 6 and 7...just an idea on overcoming a plateau.

Pilates & yoga. I do this when my plantar fasciitis bothers me. I skip downward dog and anything that requires me to bend my toes and use my foot.

Well the last nurse practitioner I saw asked if I would "like to see the nutritionist?" I did not bring up my weight, I was there for plantar fasciitis. I would have liked her to read the notes for the past 3 months that I had been in to the MD monthly regarding my weight and had lost 30 lbs.

I have BED and I do know that they are doing clinical trials in my area...the only thing I can really think of is medication for a short time while behavior and habits are worked on...
