Yoga! I've spent the past 14 months practicing almost daily & plan on continuing this for 2020. I love yoga with Adriene!

Yoga helped me learn patience. How? Because when i first started yoga i was weak everywhere, trembling and inflexible. I heard that you were supposed to do whats good for your body and to practice and over time you will see results. It was hard but i did this. After 6 months i saw a change. At a year i saw more progress.…

I get on youtube daily and do Yoga with Adriene. It's free & you can fit in short workouts when you don't have much time. She's patient and not one of those intimidating pretzels and i love her humor.

I'm about 3 lbs from my goal weight and body doesn't want to budge...145 or 148 either one...I'm fine where I am...my body is strong and healthy no need to push it.

I just began Revolution. In August I did Yoga camp and July 30 Days. Jen Hilman also has a nice 7 day Chakra series.

I use vanilla or caramel premier protein. For every 8 oz. Iced coffee, I add 6 oz of protein shake.

I've been on prozac off and on for years and haven't had this experience. I wonder if you're eating enough and about the intensity of the cardio. Maybe you're body needs a few rest days to rejuvenate?

I had my sleeve 3/19. So glad I did this! No regrets.

I'm always looking for new, motivational friends that post frequently!

I snore very loud and after a sleep study found out that I have sleep apnea. I also grind my teeth and wake up with headaches. Might be worth talking to your PCP to rule out a medical condition.
-
I'm also looking for new friends who are active daily and participate in posts!! I have some great friends already but the majority don't interact...sending out requests 😃

Sounds like a combination of kindergarten & a toxic workplace...

Prior to gaining a large amount of weight my body was set at 162 lbs at 5'5. When I was lighter than this I looked ill and many people told me so...this is my goal weight.

I had 2 bulging discs (not from "lifting" but from lifting heavy patients as a healthcare worker). I did not want the cortisone shot even though I was in horrible pain. I chose physical therapy and the chiropractor. PT helped me strengthen my core and work on the piriformus and other related muscles. Chiro helped the discs…

Yes! They sync so it's super easy. I have the fit bit 2 and it's great. I feel lost without it now if I don't wear it!

Nope didn't hover or read it, but when I just did I see.

I find this interesting...I've never used woo and when I look at the lineup would like to think it's positive, as it is between like and hug. It's unfortunate that people use it in a negative way.

I have previously been an "all or nothing" type of person...either I'm eating healthy or I am not. When I am successful it is because I've altered this behavior. For example, last weekend I ate a lot of junk, but I was able to pick back up Monday and I've had a successful week. There are a lot of healthy crock pot recipes…

Physical therapy and cortisone shots helped me. The water bottle not so much. I was told i do not use my toes as much as I should to push off from while walking...

I do not have a desk job but my chiropractor used this as an example yesterday. He said to hit the gym for 30 minutes before and after work and incorporate a HIIT workout.

Wow you really strike me as an accepting, open-minded person, with some great positive energy despite your bump in the road. I have 91 lbs to lose and am always looking for friends to share this journey towards health !!
-
91 to lose here!! I am looking for friends who are active daily!!

I use tools to keep me going like my fit bit and the gym. I also allow myself a cheat meal or cheat day once a week. I don't like to eat less than 1200 calories a day. If you start making small changes you may get your mind in the game a bit stronger.
-
Congratulations on your accomplishment...you're in the home stretch!!

Jen Hilman has a lot of beginner yoga on youtube. Love all her videos and very basic. She's a great teacher.

Having a support system and group of people sharing your struggle is so important! I find MFP friends motivate me when I'm down and help me keep going!
