  • Hello everyone. I'm sorry I have not posted. I have been sick and unable to do Adrienne's yoga jouney. I was sick when I started but then I couldn't continue. I am not daunted. I know I can restart anytime. I hope people are continuing!
  • Hello everyone. I have had to miss the last two sessions. I have an ear infection! I can't bend down. Dizzy. I see Dr. tomorrow. Hope to start back even if I have to do 2 a day! I had a serious bout of bronchitis that I just got over. I think this is connected. Please continue to post!
  • Did #10 last night. Wasn't too bad. I just can't move as fast, so I stop the remote to catch up. I'll do #11 tonight! Lola...I consider myself a beginner I do restorative mostly. I take my time and make adjustments. Leahe23, I feel you. I started doing yoga because of back issues!

  • Hi everyone. Day 7 was challenging and yes Concordancia I sweat like crazy too. Whatalazyidiot, you can start whenever you want. Never heard of the program you're doing. Good luck with it!. I completed day 8. It wasn't too bad except there's no way in earth I can bend all the over with my head on ground. Fortunately, I…
  • Quite honestly. I just posted it and wasn't sure how to create a board! I did day 6 last night. I do them at night. They help me sleep. #6 was challenging. I can't hover. I can go into that from downward facing dog. If you haven't started, dont get hung up on the day just start st day one I looked at day 7 I'll do that…
  • Hi. Great to hear from you all. I've been doing them at night. I find they help me sleep! Day 5 was challenging, but I made adjustments for poses I can't do. I cannot hover my knees in the air with my toes bent. :o Has anyone joined the group? It not facebook. It's another social group.
  • Finished Day three! I find that breathing is the thing that expands. Since I have bronchitis right now, I find this helpful.
  • That's great. I didn't expect a response because I don't know how to create a challenge. I'm going to check that later. Nice to know someone else is on the journey too! Also, only do what you can I started yesterday because I have bronchitis and I felt good when I finished. It helped my breathing! I'm also 67!
  • Yes. I joined her dedicate 30 Day Yoga Journey. Yesterday was day 1 and I did it. I plan on continuing. :)
  • Good info. I don't set any goal dates. Just know what I need to lose, eat healthy and exercise. My body has a mind of it's own. I just wait for it to surprise me and most of the time it does. And if it doesn't, I pat it on the back and say good job. Keeps down the anxiety and disappointment!
  • You can't get a diagnosis here. Please take her to the Dr. asap.
  • Also, worst advice. Went to a nutritionist and she gave me three pieces of paper. Read them to me like I was a child (I'm 66) and said see you in a week. Brought my health info. She never looked at them. I never went back. Worst advice could also be no advice! I started back on IF and exercising.
  • Runnermom419 Please don't stop spinning! I use to spin, but had a health issue and my Dr. told me to stop. Recently, because I've managed to lose weight and my health improved. I asked him am I limited on exercise. He said no! Trust me. They're just learning. When I told them I lost weight on IF, all they could say was…
  • Stop looking at the scale. Measure your waist and weight once a week. Our body does not move because we say it should. Sometimes the thought of it getting healthy causes it to go into shock and rebel. It does have a mind of its own. Have you tried IF? A great way to tame that rebellion!

  • Also, try cutting out red meat for for an entire menstrual cycle and see if that helps. There is a woman called Queen Afua. Her books (Amazon) talks about feminine health and specifically on womb health. Several women I know have been helped with her advice.
  • Yes. I had to lose 18. So far I'm down 3 of that since I started last week. I have 13 more to go to make my Dr. ecstatic! If I can do 5 beyond that, I'll be ecstatic! Also, I am trying to be diligent with exercising. Snacks are my weakness. I have swapped them out for fruit, nuts and yogurt. 1 cup 0 fat yogurt, 10 pecans…
  • Water. You may need to increase potassium. Choose an electrolyte water which contains potassium! Check the foods you're eating. Being on a diet doesn't keep mean you won't have food issues. The food you are eating could be causing the issue. Also, changing to a new way of eating can take time for your body to adjust. If…
  • OODINA777 Listen to the responses. You're too low if you're starving! Losing weight is not about starving. Depending on what you eat, and when you eat are more important. Check out Dr. Jason Fung, on YouTube. His talk on Theraputic Fasting - Solving the Two Compartment Problem explains calories, fat and how they impact…
  • "Focus on health, not weight loss." My quote to myself. It's helped me!
  • Get a 2nd opinion from a doctor who will give you additional tests. Doctors are not perfect. Ask around to people who can refer you to one. My Dr. told me my blood tests were fine. I asked for a copy and I went ballistic. I shared it a friend of mine who was a Dr. and they gave me better advice than my Dr. I began a…
  • I do 16:8. I was overweight. I found IF on YouTube. I exercised and lost 20 lbs. in 4 months. It improved many health numbers. I stopped for a long while but managed to keep weight down because it kept me aware of what I was eating and I stayed pretty much in my eating window. I am back on it and starting to exercise…
  • I get tired of chicken breasts also. I eat skinless chicken breats. And cook them in a grill pan. Season them with whatever I want, salt, pepper, diced garlic, drizzle of olive oil. I don't worry about it nutritionally as long as it fits into my calories goals. I can make chicken breats or turkey the same way. I don't like…
  • Try Lucy Wyndham-Read on YouTube. Great videos to address your issues. Good luck. She's British by the way.
  • bjcrewe. I hope you're doing well. Also, another exercise is chair yoga. Try YogaJP on YouTube. It's free and easy. Yoga will help with balance, stamina and strength.
  • I did IF last year and lost 25 pounds. I just started back last week. I want to lose 20 more. I do 16 hours of fasting and 8 hr eating window. I eat breakfast at 12, lunch around 3 and dinner around 7:30. Last years go round made a hugh impact on my health. I didn't gain, but was able to maintain the weight loss, and I…

  • Try Lucy Wyndham-Read on YouTube. She had modifications that might not get your neighbors upset.
  • I did IF for about 5 months consecutively. I lost 25 pounds. I stopped, but not abruptly. The greatest thing I learned from IF is that I don't have to eat first thing in the morning. I tend to eat around 11am. Never before 10 unless I have an exercise class. Then, I may do a small protein shake. 1 hr before. I don't eat…
