  • Hummus is better than mayonnaise! ☺️
  • Overnight oats are easy are versatile. Throw everything in a mason jar before you go to bed and breakfast is ready as soon as you wake up! I usually put almond milk, oatmeal, chia seeds, cinnamon, a scoop of PB2, some banana, raspberries/kiwis/strawberries or whatever fruits I have on hand. Yum!
  • Hi! I absolutely had to response to your posting because it really hit home for me! I have been struggling as well with binge eating disorder, always binging on sugar and developed pre diabetes as well. I have adopted a WFPB diet for the last month and my glucose levels are coming within normal, im losing weight, I've…
  • Hi everyone! Im so glad this thread was started. I've been reading the book the China Study and have come to realize how important nutrition really is for our body and how. I've adopted a whole food plant based diet for over a month now and have lost weight very easily. It's also extremely satisfying. What's important to…
  • I can relate to many of you here. Usually, once I have a bit of chocolate or sugar, I am craving it for days and end up binging like crazy. If I log it though, I am usually able to control it a little bit. I truly think that abstinence is the way for me to go to. I had lost 15 pounds to gain it all back so quickly. I've…

  • Hi! I think touching base daily could be a great idea for accountability! I was doing great too and now slipping up again. I want to get back to my healthy habits before undoing my progress. Where are you from?
  • Me: 1 Binge: 2 Had a terrible start after a work BBQ which set off intense cravings :-( But I'm determined to turn things around as of today! I need to continue with my progress!
  • After months of trying moderation either my binge foods (chocolate), the only thing that has worked for me is abstinence. Chocolate flavoured Protein shakes sweetened with stevia are the only thing that don't set off my cravings and leave me feeling satisfied.
  • I'm in for sure. Thank goodness this starts in July because "The Binge" would have gotten one point tonight :-/
  • I think I truly a addicted to sugar :-(. Ate just one little 80 calorie square of chocolate, which turned into a 1100 calorie sugar binge. It's like tasting sugar again wakes up some kind of monster inside me.
  • Question for everyone: Do you find artificial sweeteners tame or increase your cravings for actual sugar?
  • The reward of being fit and healthy tastes much better than a 5-minute indulgence. You'll be so proud of yourself if you get through this.
  • I feel your dilemma! When I'm convminc
  • Personally, I found that allowing myself cheat days while still struggling with sugar just made me cave it even more the days I wasn't supposed to be eating it. Like a drug. Once I got rid of it, the cravings stopped after about a week. Alternatively, I searched for replacements that curbed my sweet tooth without leading…
  • Welcome! We will certainly join you and support you on this journey!
  • Good luck to you! I know once you rid yourself of soda you will feel much closer better! I quit soda 12 years ago and haven't looked back since. Lost 10 lbs in 2 months just from giving up the fizzy!
  • I'm on board with you and willing to support you 100% of the way!
  • Having been through all that in itself is a testament to how strong you are, because you find yourself here wanting to change. That's the first step. And each tiny change you make in the direction of your goal will lead you to where you want to be.
  • I hear y'a! I work in a hospital
  • Its an eye opener to read everyone's stories. Thank you for sharing. I can relate to so many of you. Eating had been a source of comfort for years for many people without us knowing anything else. Sometimes I'm eating and i didn't even realize I'm doing it. It's such an instant reflex. I really want to kick this sugar…
  • It's never too late! Now is the best day to start! Chocolate seems to be a lot of people's worst enemies as well as their work environment. Why do people bring in so much junk. It's impossible to escape! I really love your picture bdbchick! What an awesome idea!
  • Hi everyone! I would love to join this challenge. I did this in February and dropped so much weight rapidly. My mood improved, my anxiety was gone, I slept better, my acne went away and I felt fantastic! Sugar is an addictive and toxic subsistance to or in your body. Since that last challenge, I have put on 10 lbs of sugar…
  • Hello fellow Canadian! I'm in Montreal!
  • Logging diligently really makes us aware of what we are actually consuming and whether it's as healthy as we think! Its eye opening!
  • I can relate to the work environment filled with junk food. There seems to be a never ending supply of donuts, chocolate and sweets everywhere you walk. It's almost impossible to get away from. I find it frustrating at times when the sugar cravings have not yet subsided and I'm trying to white knuckle it through my shift.…
