The problem with that is she isn’t supposed to be in the house without them home. That leads to an interesting question. Allie, you aren’t allowed to be at the house without them there (Kyle’s rule), but it’s OK for you to be there without them to babysit when they need it? I would be telling her no, as you can’t stay…

I quoted your post Michelle but it was gone when I posted it. As others have noticed, it won’t let me edit my post to fix it. Okie

Lanette - Thanks for checking on me. We are safe and flood free. We have gotten about 5” of rain at our house over the last 36 hours. There are devastating floods about an hour from us. Okie in the TX Hill Country

How many acres do you have for it to require use of a tractor? I mow 4 acres with just a zero turn mower. Okie in the TX Hill Country

I'm curious, those of you who struggle to shower, what age did this start at? I am one to take a bath every night before bed. Without fail. Like I might miss 2 or 3 nights a year. Sometimes it is a long soak with a good book, sometimes it is just a couple of minutes to get clean before I head to bed. If I am really dirty,…

If there is something wrong with the seat, you can replace just the seat, you don't have to get a whole new mower. Okie in the TX Hill Country

We have a clock that projects on the ceiling so we can both see it without contorting. We don't use the alarm clock function, just the time on the ceiling. My eyesight is not good, and the numbers are big enough i can read them without my glasses. Okie in the TX Hill Country

Barbara - I did not have PT prior to surgery. I did extended PT after since I did both at the same time. I was able to go through a clinic at my husbands job so it was inexpensive and I took advantage of every visit I could. Okie in the TX Hill Country

I did not have an MRI when my knees were replaced. It depends on the surgeon and type of implant. Okie in the TX Hill Country

Good point on Kyle and Delia. It’s very sad when you are in essence a single parent because you’re too scared to leave your child alone with its father. Okie in the TX Hill Country

Good luck Allie!

If Kyle is home, why are you watching Delia?? Isn’t that Dads job? You should stay home tomorrow and have you time. Okie in the TX Hill Country

All we can do is hold them and love them while they cross so they are secure and loved to their last second. Okie in the TX Hill Country
