I walk and hike as my only exercise. I started off in June walking a half mile at probably 2 miles an hour. Today I walked 4 miles at over 3 mph. I want to eventually walk 5 miles a day, but am currently pushing myself to go faster instead of longer.

My waist must finally be getting smaller because even in my poorly fitting bra my boobs look huge in proportion to my tummy today!

So just for fun I kept track of the number I got every day for a week or so. Some days I was as many as 3 pounds higher and as many as 2 pounds less. Both my actual weight and the estimated weight varied wildly for the time I actually kept track.

Finally fitting into a smaller size pants for the first time since I started losing. Such a confidence booster!!

I've lost 26 pounds, and only an inch from my waist. However, my belly hangs down a lot, and that has shrunk considerably. So my belly isn't skinnier, it is shorter lol. Hang in there! (Edited: grammar)

You are such an inspiration to me! I do watch this space for more posts from you. My NSV: Standing at the kitchen sink doing dishes and I realized I'm not leaning my belly against the sink like I've always had to do. This led to spontaneous dancing that lasted until all the dishes were done. Also, suddenly my underwear…

I like radishes dipped in ranch dressing. They are surprisingly filling to me. 100 grams of radishes and 1 tablespoon of ranch is less than 100 calories. For a little more calories I like cheese and crackers.

I'm a knitter, although I haven't knit anything in a few months. I started knitting myself a sweater before I decided to lose weight, so it's going into the frog pond. I'm currently knitting a pair of rainbow socks.

I like cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt if I'm craving sweet. An apple and peanut butter is good. Lately I've been eating radishes. They are surprisingly filling.

I hiked in the mountains for an hour today. I only stopped when I got back to the car. I feel amazing! Next time I'm going to push myself to go further.

I just read a thread yesterday about this, but of course I can't find it now. Basically the idea is to eat at deficit for 6-10 weeks, then eat at maintenance for 10-14 days. The purpose of this is not to help weight loss, but it's mental. Anyone can "diet" for 6 weeks, knowing you get a break. You can plan this around…

Mmm, a really good deep dish pizza. My moms strawberry shortcake. Biscuits and sausage gravy. Lasagna with fresh garlic bread. I'm hungry now!

I had a scale (mind you it was the cheapest money could buy) that would give me different readings depending on where I stepped on the thing. I could move a foot forward an inch and gain 5 pounds.

I log mine with breakfast also. I have to log them else I forget to take them!

I cannot eat breakfast first thing. It makes me nauseous and then I end up starving all day. I have to wait at least an hour before I eat, I usually try to wait longer. Edited to add that in your shoes I would either try a later breakfast, or go back to skipping breakfast altogether.
