  • Thanks for the suggestions!
  • I was 5lbs from my goal weight this time last year. "Somehow" I managed to put 40lbs back on. Ugh. This year, I'm back at it. Seriously. Bought a new Fitbit and started running again on Sunday. I'm hoping to lose the 45lbs by June. My plan so far is to run 5miles a day, 3x a week. I'll increase to 6 when my endurance…
  • Thanks Duck, I'll check it out. I thought google would have had more, but it's surprisingly difficult to find results. That's really nice that your work did that! Someone made a lot of effort to pull that off. I'm researching "Journey to the West" myself to see if I can map it out.
  • Thank you for sharing your experience outside of weight loss. I was recently recommended a keto style "diet" for the other health benefits. And have been curious of the feedback from others as to whether or not such an extreme lifestyle change would be worth it the effort.

  • I hadn't planned on getting one specifically to celebrate reaching goal weight. But I will be getting more ink in the fall. Kinda wishing I had gotten them while I was still heavy, it would hurt less! LOL :D
  • I'm 4% body fat from my goal. I'm thinking that'll be about 10lbs from now. When I reach goal, I'm buying a screen printing setup. I used to do screen printing in school and I've always said I'd do it again, but the startup investment made me hesitant. When I began this journey, over a year ago, I promised myself that when…
  • Are you male or female? That can be a huge difference in interpreting stats. Generally speaking, males see abs below 10% body fat, women below 15%. (Very loose generalization!)
  • It's a very popular program here. I'm on week 9. Did you have specific questions or just inquiring about results?
  • Ohh nuts! Well, that's what I was afraid of. I was really hoping for some nice round ones, but I am thinking I may not be able to given how things are shaping up so far. Darn! :/
  • An alternative would be to eat more and work off the extra calories. I do that on extra hungry days.
  • I walk 10 miles a day, 5 days a week on my treadmill. But I enjoy it. It's my quiet time. I watch Netflix or movies. And I have a goal this year to walk from Kings Landing to the Wall. (GoT reference) If you don't like it, it will never become a "habit" because you'll resent the time spent.
  • Hi Emily! Congratulations! I'm getting married in May. I've lost nearly 30lbs so far (gained a little back over the holidays) I've got about 20 more to go, but I'd be content with 10-15 at this point. I've been slacking big time and need to get back on track. I haven't even ordered my dress yet! I've tried a lot of…
  • I love my Blaze, just bought one for Hubs for Christmas since his old 1st gen fitbit died. Super easy, very convenient, a lot of great features. If your goals are fitness not just fashion, go fitbit.
  • For me personally, it takes 22 steps, at 3mph, to burn 1 calorie. You have to get a lot of steps to make a significant calorie deficit. Be sure your step counting device is adjusted to your height & stride length.
