  • When I did weight training I was not losing pounds like I thought I should and I was I thought eating WAY too many calories (about 2200) The owner of the gym (my trainer's boss) made a deal with me. I could lower my calories for a month to what I wanted. He said up front I would lose at least 5 pounds that month but to…
  • I was told that women's pants don't have pockets because it would bulk up the look of the pants. Uh huh. Suuurrreeeee
  • Target https://www.target.com/s?searchTerm=bra+extender#category=0%7CAll%7Cmatchallpartial%7Call+categories&lnk=snav_ta_bra+extender_s Joann fabric http://www.joann.com/search?q=bra%20extenders I also have used the pant extender too. http://www.joann.com/waistband-expanders/4683785.html
  • Bra folks - I feel you. I haven't seen my lap since I was 15 and every shirt has a stain right on the boobs. Once I'm to my real final size and have maintained for a while I will be getting a reduction. But, for the bras that fit in the cup but not in the band if you need just a few inches there are extenders for a few…
  • But what is the question? I'll wait.
  • I agree if someone is complaining but not doing anything that is not cool. I feel this way in every aspect of life. If you are complaining but busting your butt, then I'll listen all day with a smile on my face. Otherwise no way. When we all see someone overweight and only have the visual to judge we have to realize we…
  • Hi all, add me too. I am 60 days in and lost almost 20 and have 97 to go.
  • I don't know if this is 'woo science but I've read that the high doses of MSG in fat food is addictive. MSG itself is typically ok now and then but the fast food places use so much of it that it's super hard to give it up.
  • I figured this out the last time I lost 50 pounds and started to have my curvy figure be very obvious. I tried to see a therapist to help me figure out why I freak out at a certain size and blow up again but I can't find one that is really getting the problem. They all seem to use the cognitive behavior approach, which is…
  • Errr, what specifically is wrong with the people saying this to you? I think we need a full team of therapists on this ASAP.
  • I can't process this. I simply can't.
  • I swear I thought it was just me. I can't do the elipical; it kills my knees when everyone says how great it is I'm just assuming I have the weirdest stride ever then.
  • Add me too, I need to lose over 100!!!!
  • It's hard to blame WW for selling people things they are eager to believe.....then changing it every so often to resell it. If their clients lost weight and kept it off they'd have been extinct long ago. It's the people's expectation that you can have it all without consequences that has to change. I did WW a very very…
  • Ummm, wow, people really think this? I'd love to have a huge bowl of corn or unlimited carrots and peas. I love those super starchy veggies. Who knew I could assume they have no calories. SMH. This picture is not directed at you, it is directed at whomever came up with that nonsense (and the desperate people that believe…
  • I'll regret this but....what is blended fruit. I'm not interested in buying into hype, I just don't understand (eg is it literally blended to a puree)? I'm a CICO person through and through. If you want to intermittent fast or do low/no carb or whatever, I don't care. Just don't assume what works for your body and…
  • The original post was great. I like to make my own food and don't go out that much, but I do have some go to items. My go to fast food is at Wendys. A plain baked potato, a side salad (no dressing or croutons), and a small chili and two packets of crackers. I put the chili on the potato and on the salad and crumble the…
  • I do this too but also buy with the potato and small chili the side salad with no dressing or croutons. Chili on the salad and on the potato! I'm stuffed afterwards.
  • OMG that thing with those folks back then at that place. I'll never forget it!
  • Keep what you need out and handy so you aren't digging around frustrated. Have medicine in baggies and labeled by day. Organization will help tremendously so you aren't stumbling around and at risk of tripping and falling.

  • Can't you just say (assuming it's true) my doctor is pleased with my health. Also feel free to invite them to your next physical if they want to get more involved in your personal life. If you're satisfied with your appearance and your doctor is not concerned about any disorder then maybe stop looking for how others are…
  • My mom is in Boynton and won't leave. Her outdoor stuff and her shutters are being taken care of Thursday. I wish she'd leave and come north but she's not interested.
  • Here is the forum for me.
  • "What you see here today is not the result of the decision I made on that day, but the result of the many decisions I've made on a daily basis since that moment." As impressive as the physical change is, this quote is everything. I have a lot to accomplish on my journey and this quote will help me tremendously. Thank you…
  • Yeah, that makes sense. I agree, AT BEST it was very mishandled. At worst, I don't even want to think about a supervisor wanting to hurt their team but it happens all too often. I'd call her a witch but I'm not allowed as apparently the thread is now about persecution (and grammar errors). Sorry to the OP and I hope you're…
  • I've had the flu. For my personal experience the absolute worst of it lasts 3-5 days, the next couple weeks are recovery but I can handle that without the shot. That's my personal decision. I'm not asking permission or forgiveness. My doctor and I are on the same page so that matters more than what the internet thinks.
  • They are free to get their shots as they are high risk. I do not oppose it for others. I am an avid hand washer and don't often touch my face so that is the best way to avoid being sick in my personal experience. Others may have less of a tolerance to germs and should then get the shot.
  • I'm for them in theory. Three things stop me from getting them. First is I'm not 'high risk' meaning I can haev a flu for a few days and not be in serious condition. Second right now the CDC does a best guess on the strains that will likely hit in the flu season and their track record is under 50% accuracy. Third, in the…
