I consume about 600kcals from whole wheat flour everyday and have lost about 4-5lbs a month.

Try a low carb diet. If its not something you can continue, or are not meeting your goals, switch to plain old calorie counting & eat the same way you used to eat, just lesser. Whatever you do, buy a kitchen scale and log accurate weight and entries here in your mfp diary.

It does not matter for weight loss which day you log it. I prefer closing my diary at midnight.

Ive lost 15 pounds in 3 months eating well over 300gm carbs a day. I eat the same things, just a bit lesser. I also move a bit more now.

Cut calories or eat at maintenance. Consume enough protein. Also don't do your own lifting program. Look up a good beginners lifting program.

Weight loss isn't so predictable. Go back 2 months, count total net calories eaten since then and total weight lost since then. And from those 2 numbers you can get a rough estimate of your NEAT maintenance.
