I was thinking about bumping my intake to Maintenance and then I will be at Disney world for 5 days this week so I’ll probably just be in the moment and not track at all! I have been tracking consistently for 12 weeks along with working out consistently but for the past week or two I just have no energy and I am always so…
-
When you take your diet break do you not track at all? I just feel so burned out!
-
Yes! It took off 500 calories

I love the instagram recommendation! His calculations have me at about 2,000 as well, I guess I should clarify I’m at 180lbs & 23% Body fat
-
It sounded like a lot to me, but all of the TDEE calculators give me a similar number when I subtract 15%. My other option is to lose 1.5lbs at 1,700 calories & that just feels too low most days. :(
-
Do you think I can adjust to an increase pretty well? My weight is always fluctuating but I seem to be in a downward trend. I just worry about staying at lower calories & then trying to maintain would be more difficult

@sijomial interested to hear what you have to say
-
To clarify, I was referring to hunger in the mornings & the eating window feeling natural, for the adjustment. not a sudden drop in weight!
-
No but I think I’m less bloated & my digestion is much better, therefore feeling leaner.
-
I think you all are right! Totally binged twice today & went off the rails. I think I need to refocus & reprioritize :(
-
Yes it does!

I used to use “happy scale” but for me, it was a little difficult to understand. I also found myself getting frustrated about the dates they gave me to reach milestones. Which sounds so silly :(
-
I guess I have this fear I’ll gain somehow. :( I seem to be up & down in weight trying to be in a deficit so I worry I’ll just keep going up at maintenance. People suggest me lowering my calories until I’m losing again but I think I’ll lose my mind!
-
What’s your eating window?:)

I’m 5’6! I was working with a coach at 1,400 calories so I’m nervous to eat the full allowed calorie amount! :( my weight has been stalled for almost a month and I was wondering if it was from the sudden increase in calories. I’m finally starting to lose again so hopefully my body has adjusted to the new calorie amount!

I’m 175 & my first goal is 160lbs, I’m going to see how I feel there & then decide how much more to lose :) I set my goals to 1.5lbs a week (1,750 cals) I usually exercise 3-4 times a week & don’t typically eat back exercise calories. I try to eat around 1,500 cals during the week so I can splurge on the weekend & eat more…

That is so amazing! I would love to chat more and hear other advice you may have if you don’t mind! Sent you a friend request. :)

Exactly! My “relaxed” is eating around 1,900-2,000 calories when MFP suggests 1,750! That’s why I had to stop doing “cheat days”, I was eating 4.000+ calories just for the sake of eating what I wanted on my chest day 😭🤦🏼♀️ I think I’ve been unintentionally saving my calories during the week cause I typically eat…

Some days my carbs are close to 100% but thankfully not every day :)
-
That’s so true! I guess with all these diets like keto/Adkins it makes me afraid of carbs!
-
Thank you for that! That’s so encouraging!

Very true! Thank you for putting that into perspective:)
