  • On Easter, yes; the 3 days before? No. But I already dropped 3 of the 7 pounds I was up in one day of being in my deficit, so I'm not worried.
  • Just went on a mini overnight vacation and had biscuits and gravy, sausage links, bacon, scrambled eggs, and a bowl of cereal for breakfast. I maybe should have went for the fruit basket but damn was it good.
  • I made goulash and it was delicious.
  • I didn't get upset when I went over my calories on Thursday. I was super hungry, so I ate just under maintenance level, and was back under goal yesterday (instead of over-eating just because I'd already missed my goal one day so why not just give up for the week).
  • 3. I just cannot bring myself to carve or eat meat off all those bones.
  • I love my Charge 2. Having the heart rate monitor built in has been a life changer for me. The calories are always accurate enough for me to eat back most or all of them and still lose weight, and it keeps me motivated to be active (most of the time - I have had to take mental health breaks from tracking). I have a bunch…
  • Night time eating is bad for me, too. I get hungriest and want to snack at lot at work and afterwards (I work second shift). A lot of days, I don't eat breakfast if I'm not hungry and eat a lighter lunch so I can save a few calories for later in the day. I always make sure I have enough room at the end of the day for a…
  • I lost weight eating a whole food plant based vegan diet, but it wasn't sustainable for me. I was losing weight too quickly because I wasn't eating enough, and I ended up binging on panda express after 2 months and struggling to come back from that for almost 6 months. I never felt satisfied and had cravings all of the…
  • Yay! I just got back into my jeans over the weekend too. Good feels!
  • 6.03 miles yesterday, 20.85 until Encounter with Black Rider. This is the most amusing way of tracking miles I've ever seen, lol!
  • Getting to 180 - at 184.8 as of Sunday.
  • Well, I really wanted a bluetooth scale because, well, I like new things, but did not want to spend the Fitbit price on it. So, $26 Renpho bluetooth scale on Amazon, and it syncs up to my Fitbit and Apple Health. I like having the extra data, even if it isn't going to be 100% accurate on BF and stuff like that. And I like…
  • I could weigh daily when I was losing weight the first time. This go around, since I don't have as much to lose, the daily fluctuations can be more bothersome and much less linear, so I only weigh once a week for my sanity. My problem getting back on the wagon was not seeing any results after a couple days - it was almost…
  • I didn’t binge eat after a very emotional and stressful night
  • Creating small goals can help with losing motivation when you don't see fast results. Weight loss is a slow and steady process. Just take it one day at a time! 5 pounds, then another 5 pounds, then another. You'll be at 80 pounds lost before you know it. Good luck Shirley, good for you for taking this step for your health!
  • I did!! Black Rider, here I come.
  • 5'10 here! 1st SW was 310, got down to 170 and maintained for a while, started again at 190, and now just under 185. GW is 140-150. Phew, that's a mouthful.
  • Ice cream is the best end of the day treat when you have a lot of calories left to eat. If I'm having a low-cal day, sometimes I like to save them for the weekend - when I'm at home rather than working I want to eat more, so it's nice to have a few extra calories to splurge on Saturdays. I like eating chicken tenders and…
  • I ate a sleeve of thin mints for lunch last week. No regrets. Thank God for CICO, lol. [but there's so many more of them, why are there so many girl scouts I have to buy from]
  • I would recommend the Nike Training Club app. It's free, and there's workout plans you can customize to your liking - what kind of workouts, what level of intensity, how many days a week, what kind of equipment you have. I enjoy it a lot; it's the only plan I've ever been able to really stick to, including ones I've paid…
  • Drop That Kitty - Ty Dolla $ign Power - Little Mix M.I.L.F.$ - Fergie Guy.exe - Superfruit Worth It - Fifth Harmony Some of my favorites, but I usually just shuffle my whole "Current Faves" playlist or a pop workout radio station on Apple Music. As long as I can dance to it, I can workout to it :p Unless I'm walking -…
  • Balance! Chicken and veggies for lunch, pizza for supper. But really, unless you're really wanting to stick to a certain diet, it's just all about eating what you want to eat as long as it fits into your calorie goal. Eat what makes you feel good. You may over time want to eat healthier, more lean meats and fruits and…
  • I'm pretty basic and love a chicken breast cut in half with some kick'n chicken seasoning and pan fried (without oil, covered, nonstick pan, yada yada). I am also the weirdo that saves extra dipping sauces from restaurants so I usually eat it with zax sauce from Zaxby's or honey mustard from wherever, but that can be a lot…
  • This is amazing, hahah! I'm at 4.91 miles today and I kind of want to wander around my house to get to 5 so I can make it to Tookland.
  • Good luck to you! It's incredible how much a consistent workout routine can improve your overall outlook. It's a pain to do it sometimes, but man, it feels awesome on the other side of it!
  • Welcome back Susan! Good thing is, you already know how to do this and have done it successfully before. You got this! Good luck!
  • I agree with everyone else, you've done very very well. I maintained with a 10 pound range for a year and a half, then gained an extra 10. Now I'm losing it again. It's not the end of the world! Don't live your life in fear or worry, just keep an eye on it and know you've done good! If it gets to a point that you're not…
  • This thread is giving me a complex. I've never thought about canned beans so much in my life. Good info, though! Lol.
