Mine does the same. I assume it only logs what it considers proper excersize, as normal walking around is already taken into account with your excersize level. For example, if I walk around, very slowly, with my elderly dog, it doesn't log it as extra excersize, but if I go for a brisk walk, it does.

Your arms look fine to me, but anyway, you can't tighten skin by any amount of weight lifting. It will either shrink back as you lose weight, if thats what you are doing, or it won't. I think the safest thing would be to hire a personal trainer to get you started. They can set you up a plan, and see you through the first few weeks or months. Injuring yourself because you take it too quickly, or a mistake in using the equipment could really set you back.

Hi, those calories seem a little high for weight loss. I am 5'7" and my calorie allowance for a 1lb loss per week is 1390. I didn't choose that myself, the app did if for me.

I agree, except don't tell him it's healthy. Cook the foods he likes but slip in healthy ingredients, grill the steak, fry the eggs in 1 cal spray oil, then add veg. No food is totally off the menu, but gradually add healthier foods to the ones he likes.

I still have the layer of flab too, I'm still trying to lose another 5 to 7 pounds. I'm starting to see the general shape of my abs after I've done my excersize, but when I sit down I still have a little apron that folds over my waistband.😞

American portions in restaurants are much bigger than in the UK. I only ever need to order a starter and dessert when in the USA. My best friend is a grazer and that works well for him, I couldn't eat like that, I have two good size meals which fill me up, possibly with fruit in between.
