I’m a believer now too! Keto took my migraines away, I no longer feel menstrual cramps which is insane, my achy joints are flexible again. There are weeks when my weight doesn’t budge on the scales but that’s not enough to stop me eating Keto.

I make Sour Keto gummy bears with beef gelatine, herbal tea, vitamin c powder and stevia. You can change the herbal tea for electrolyte tablets if you don’t want to add stevia or sugar free jelly. You could also try making lean beef/lamb kebab sticks with grilled bell peppers.

I started eating Keto August 2018 to improve my energy levels and lose the weight I gained after a thyroidectomy. I’ve lost 45lbs so far and another 45lbs left to lose, it’s been really good. I don’t think it would of been possible without the Keto communities online that share ideas and recipes. It’s crazy to think about…

I like to freeze my berries, that way I can savour the flavour for longer. They also taste a bit like candy when frozen.

I struggled massively to lose weight on Keto in the beginning due to not having a thyroid, but persevere and the results will come. I started Keto a few weeks ago and have lost just over a stone. I’ve just stuck to being in a calorie deficit due to snail pace metabolism. I tried to go low at 800 calories and was too hungry…

I make Maunika Gowardhan Curries using beef, lamb or chicken. I alter the recipes to include more fats from oils and add double cream of coconut milk instead of the yogurt. I also add low carb veggies like spinach, spring greens and Brussel sprouts and serve it with cauliflower rice mixed with turmeric and an additional…

Hi All, I started two weeks ago, I struggled after feeling I may be consuming too much food unnecessarily. I used this calculator a few days ago to calculate the correct fat, protein and carbohydrate intake based on my weight and body fat percentage. https://keto-calculator.ankerl.com/ :)

Dark Chocolate 50%-90% melted and spread over plain rice cakes. Before popping in the fridge to set you can add additional toppings like chopped nuts ,coconut flakes, raisins or dried fruit to make it even more filling. One 100g Bar of chocolate covers the top of 10 Rice cakes. This recipe helped stop my late night crisp…

Thank you @deannalfisher and @CSARdiver! 2 Months ago I was told everything was normal apart from my TSH levels that were being suppressed and a Vit-D deficiency. I’ve just today had blood tests so i’m hoping for better results this time round.

Hi, Thanks Christine_2017! :) Still trying to figure out how everything works navigation-wise, will likely get easier the more I use it. Really useful to understand food intake vs Calorie control. I’m pretty new to the calorie counting so hoping to get that under control. How have you found using the site?

Hi All, I had total thyroid removal back in April. I had hyperthyroidism before then causing many annoying symptoms. After surgery it was a relief to be able to breathe properly due to the goitre. I’ve not yet managed to get my levels where they need to be so have just stuck with what worked before my thyroid issues…

Hello All, I’m a Londoner and just joined hoping to shift a few barrels before next summer. Feel free to add me!

Hi @LillyBoots, You’ve probably had your surgery already so hope this information still helps. I didn’t gain or lose any significant weight post total thyroidectomy. I mainly just hovered around the same weight for a good month or two before I returned to normal eating habits. I would suggest to take it easy with sugars…
