Hello all, I am doing the low carb diet, (25g or less carbs) and need help on how much, fat and protein to take in each day.
I'm also confused about how I know whether or not I am eating too much or too little!

Girl I recommend the original Dr Atkins book. It's awesome and has so much information. It's what got me started.3

You can use the MFP calorie goal once you set up your profile and weight loss goals correctly. Calories will be the same regardless of how you eat.
The general recommendation is a minimum of 0.6g - 0.8g of protein per lb of your goal weight. I don't do low carb, but I believe you can do higher protein than that if you want, but one way or the other the rest is fat.
You can check out the Low Carbers Group as well https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum6 -

What are your stats? How much do you work out?1 -
Set your calorie goal using MFP’s calculator, then measure and log everything you put into your mouth.
Eat up to 25g carbs if that’s your plan, and the rest of your calories from either protein or fat. It doesn’t have to be stressful. Unless you’re eating nothing but butter—or nothing but boneless, skinless chicken breast—you’re not going to get too lopsided. Focus on getting variety into your diet, and enjoyment out of it, and you’ll be fine.3 -

Yes, yes it does, but let's discus it in Debate. I have started a thread: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10690387/moderate-carbohydrate-intake-may-be-best-for-health-study-suggests/p1?new=13 -

Hi All,
I started two weeks ago, I struggled after feeling I may be consuming too much food unnecessarily. I used this calculator a few days ago to calculate the correct fat, protein and carbohydrate intake based on my weight and body fat percentage.
