Checking back in after months off this thread and MFP (which hasn’t been good for the clutter or the weight). Trying to get back on track. This thread will help on both accounts. One tiny bit of progress I’ve been working on is the clutter in the freezer and kitchen cupboards. Got rid of all the expired stuff. Been…

I've had PF on & off through the years as my weight crept up 50+lbs. Finally went away for good (so far) 5 years ago after practicing yoga regularly for a few months. All those downward dogs really stretched out the heels. It's been a few years since I've done yoga, but it hasn't come back. I've only recently lost weight…

My most recent small change is to order water instead if pop or liquor when eating out, and developing a habit of drinking herbal tea (no sugar) at work and at home instead of lemonade. Another small change is to take a few flights of stairs up whenever I need to use the restroom at work. Gets that heart pumping.

For the parents out there, I heard a similar suggestion of taking a picture of your child holding each of their art projects when they bring them home from school. Much less clutter than packing away all the art. And you're left with a nice compact memory. Wish I had heard of this when my kids were young. Still have a box…

Up 1# from 24th to 25th, maintained on 26th, back down 1# today, 27th. Tried hard not to repeat Thanksgiving gain of 4#s. But still enjoyed everything I wanted to.

12oz whole milk, 2tsp raw sugar, Tbsp of high quality instant. Love it, not worth compromising. But trying to drink it less often or smaller cups since it is over 200 cal.

The things that are damaged, just throw. You don't want someone to pay money at Goodwill and find out it's damaged. There are some donation services, like Disabled American Vets and the Epilepsy Foundation, that will arrange to pick up your big stuff (and your small stuff). It will feel so good to unburden yourself of that…

I know, that's a bad attitude. I will really try to get rid of those too big clothes!!

I can definitely identify with your post. Being a clutter-bug has been a lifelong struggle, same as my weight. Don't have any tips yet, but I hope to be going through my clothes closet after a few more pounds. Struggling to decide if I should get rid of the too-big clothes. Hard to let go of anything. Ya never know when ya…

Grilled with spicy seasonings, seasoned salt, garlic powder, cayenne powder.

I have liked to drink my calories too. I have found I get just as much pleasure from 6 oz as 12 oz. of my whole milk & sugar instant coffee. I'd rather cut down on quantity than use skim milk. Maybe the same for you and diet vs regular soda. Look for those mini cans of soda and limit it to one a day. I'm also working on…

Try blanching your veggies then eating them chilled. They'll be neither too soft nor too hard, but chilled like raw veggies would be. I've done this with carrots, cauliflower, broccoli and green beans.

There is a caffeine-free drink that has a pleasant coffee-like taste. It's made from chicory root. I had it in the Czech Republic and have been meaning to look for it in US. I've only found it online mixed with coffee. If anyone else has had this and knows a brand name or where to get it, please advise.

I have been trying 12:12 IF. I don't skip any meals. I just remember what time my last meal was at night and try not to eat until 12 hours later the next morning. I like this better than stopping eating at a specific time at night because my daily schedule varies and also I can't sleep if I'm hungry. So if I don't get home…

A tablespoon of black strap molasses can provide 20% of daily iron. And is vegan.

Every morning weigh and record. Keeps me motivated and is good feedback about my exercise and eating. When I quit weighing myself, the pounds creep up.

Just joining today, so with about a week 'til the end of the month, here are my goals: Eat more fruits and veggies everyday. Keep my kitchen clean. Make my September 1st goal by October 1st - 2 pounds to go. Barb

I'm a walker-only because of the convenience and I dislike pretty much everything else. Also, I have knee problems. My goal has been 4 miles average a day, which for me turns out to be about 10,000 steps. I have found it very motivating to use the health app on my iPhone because it shows me the average weekly, monthly &…

I boil them and make a veggie salad with boiled cauliflower and green beans. I have used mayo but I need to find a healthier dressing. Olive oil with salt and pepper? Ideas?
