Every Wednesday, I make homemade chocolate chip pancakes, regular and turkey bacon, and scrambled eggs. On most Sunday evenings, I make french toast and scrambled eggs served with yogurt. Breakfast for dinner is very popular with my family. :)

It took me about 9 months to get to my goal weight. Once in maintenance, I had to figure out my calories and ended up losing ~10 additional lbs that I decided to not regain. How I lost the weight: I logged everything that I ate and drank. I bought a food scale and weighed everything. I still do, in fact. I set my loss goal…

I'm technically 5'2.75 , but usually just go with 5'3. I'm 36 and maintain around a 115-118lb range. I lost a bit over 43lbs in about 9 months. My current measurements are 31-24-35. Good luck on your journey!

I was thinking that 1800 seemed low, but as I said I don't know your goals or timeline. I'm not an expert on weight loss, and I can only speak to my own experience. For what it's worth, I have seen others on these forums caution against the 2 lb loss unless it was for a loss of a large amount of weight as it might be too…

When you plug in your information to my fitness pal, what does it recommend for caloric intake? I was surprised to see that you'd be eating 1800 calories a day. I completely understand the all or nothing mentality. I've yoyo'ed in weight most of my life feeling that way. I can only speak for myself when I say that adopting…

Amazing job! Your dedication and hard work are truly inspiring! Keep on keeping on, friend!

Thanks, Dalon! 😊 Glad to hear that you're where you want to be. You've been pretty on point with your logging for as long as I can recall - ever an inspiration. My update: my scale showed a 2 lb drop this am. I always have some residual "mental" cravings that I have to ignore for a day or so and then it'll be all good.

Not well. I went into xmas eve in the lower end of my maintenance range...and then, I ate all the things! It was two days of oscillating between overeating and then feeling lousy. I didn't log much of my food and drank more alcohol than I have for a very long time. The food hangover was real. Weighed in this morning six…

Another mom of three here! I'm 5'3.

I can't say that I've noticed a taste difference in the different sizes. I usually buy a pack of them and they come in the large sizes, so I weigh them. Good luck with your refund!

These cookies are an occasional treat for me. I really like them! I particularly like the birthday cake and lemon poppyseed flavors. The large sized cookies are ~400 calories, so it's not uncommon for me to weigh half a cookie to eat. IIRC the large cookies are 8g of protein per serving of half a cookie, so 16g of protein…

My go to movie snack is airpopped popcorn with a few m&m's. During the day, I'll do a can of green beans, a 70 calorie tuna packet, or an apple (preferably Honeycrisp).

This. My mom was once asked when she was due.. She wasn't pregnant. Unfortunately, I carry my weight when heavier much the same way. I've lost a little over 45 lbs and the big belly was the last to go. Also, once I lost the weight it took a bit (in maintenance) for the skin to tighten up and not look saggy. I definitely…

I was with you until your fourth item.. How did you lose the weight?

I second this!

@GoodLardy Thanks! Happy to share!

Hi there! At the start of my weight loss journey, I just assumed that I had big knees that were unsightly. I'm liking them more now that I've gotten to maintenance. (Edited to add: I'm 5'3.) I'm not sure if I fit exactly what you're looking for, but this is my before and after: leg edition. Best of luck to you OP! Feel…

This one really resonates with me. I'm nearing a full year of logging food and exercise, and have been in maintenance since April.

Mine is open. Feel free to add me.

I posted a running before and after picture on this thread already, but came across an old photo from June 2013 (left) recently that reminded me of how far I've come. The middle photo is from the summer of last year. The right photo is from yesterday.

You could also look into TVP.

I second this.

Fellow 5'3" female here! I had originally set my goal weight to be 125. After I decided to go into maintenance, I ended up losing a little more than 5 lbs. At this point, I've decided that I'm going to let it ride and hover around 120 +/- a couple of pounds. I honestly don't want to go much lower because 1) I like how I…

On the left, this picture was taken at the finish line of my first 5k in a long time. I trained for it but it was still rough. (October 2017) On the right, another finish line picture from my first 10k. I trained for it but it was still rough.

Have you gone to the festival yet? If so, how did it go?

I'm 5'3". Top left: ~160 lbs. Bottom left: ~upper 140s Right: lower 120s When I'm heavier I carry a lot of weight in my stomach unfortunately. How I did it: exercise and a calorie deficit.
-
1. 40 lbs 2. ~9 months 3. Maintenance is going well. To get here, I consistently exercised and kept a calorie deficit. I've been maintaining by continuing to exercise, log my food and weight, and eat at my maintenance calorie range.

This!
