Congrats on reaching out when you need it. First step for me that I believe caused my successes so far was staying motivated. If you aren't motivated everyday you start to give in . Be excited think about it all day how this is your goal and how great your doing. Our intentions are everything we can really change anything with our intentions they have lots of power. Who you think you are you will be . What you think you can do you will do. Here's alittle bit of my successes along the way. All my life i was obese i couldnt remember last time i was under 200 pounds. I remember being 15 years old weighing over 200 pounds. 6 years ago I had my second baby and my weight ballooned really high to 360. I couldn't do anything raise my kids move breathe nothing I was just so fat n tired all the time. My grandma called me and said I believe god is telling me that you need to do somthing about your weight or your gonna die very early. She said maybe you should get a surgery or somthing done to loose weight . I said no grandma I will do it on my own just give me time I'm gonna do it natural. Well I joined a gym and got mfp and ate less. I lost 80 pounds and then got pregnant again with my 3 rd child. Gained the weight back and then I lost it again last year but got pregnant again and this time I kept it off plus lost 20 pounds while pregnant. And now my babies a year old and I've lost a total of 156 pounds i went from 360 to today I weigh 204 I'm 5'6. I go extreme tho I'm very motivated . I eat little move more. I don't recommend eating as little as me . When I weighed 300s I ate around 1200 calories and now I eat under 1000 calories . I exercise 5 days a week cardio 45 mins or lift weights. 2 of my biggest things that have helped me along the way staying on track . 1. Staying motivated focusing my energy my thoughts on my success and where I want to be . 2. Eating very low carbs so I'm not hungry. When you eat carbs your sugar spikes and when they go crashing down u think ur hungry again . I was eating no carbs keto diet but it was unhealthy i believe so I switched to only carbs in fruit n veggies. But still controlled carbs i don't eat potatoes my sugars go crazy. Everyday I eat almost same food. Orange for breakfast salad for lunch and meat n veggie for dinner water water water with lemon . This may be hard for some people to go extreme as I do but it worked for me I have 4 children depending on me . It was do or die for me
and now I feel so much better . You can do this just remember nothing taste as good as success and energy . Keep trying keep focused and be amazing.24 -
Have long term goals! Don't Step on the scale daily and get bogged down with wanting to see changes daily. Keep your goals in mind daily but weigh once a week complete with measuring waist and hips and all too. Write it all down. Some weeks you'll see a difference in numbers, some weeks you'll see a difference in inches. Always also compare to your beginning numbers, not the most recent numbers. It's a long journey. Remember how far you've cone total not just this week. Good luck I know you can do it! 30 pounds down today since January 17th. So glad I started, I'm not stopping for anything.4

Started my weight loss in earnest on 12 September 2017 and have been going from strength to strength since then. Joined a gym and try to go 5 times a week doing a mix of cardio and strength training (strong lifts 5x5) Eat around 1600-1700 cals per day aiming for 1lb week loss now. Have never eaten under 1500 cals. I don’t know what has clicked this time as I’ve been trying to lose weight for the last ten years, but am actually really enjoying the process and although working hard am finding it fairly easy and the weight loss consistent. My determination has also been consistent though and I have got myself into good eating and exercise habits. Joining the gym I believe made the world of difference for me.5

This is 8 years of work. There were plenty of days where motivation was lost. Just don’t beat yourself up for imperfection!23 -

I am nearing 80 lbs lost. I need to lose another 70 to get to my goal weight. Over halfway there . I started in size 24/26 pants. 2-3X shirts. Today I fit into 15/16 pants and XL shirts.
