Consistency is key! Starting off walk/running like you did today is a great way to ease into it, and as you keep it up you'll need to walk less and less. Don't do too much too fast or you could get injured. Running is my favorite form of mental health, welcome to the fold :)

I'm a runner, and if I don't eat enough carbs my runs are awful. I feel as if carbs fuel my body and improve my workouts. Obviously, everyone is different, but that is my personal experience.

@mirendybryant if you have a fitbit, you can go to add a device in your app and add mobile tracking. You have to carry your phone with you, but it's sometimes better than nothing if you're into tracking your steps!
